I went to 221 Restaurant, here is what I thought:WOW! 221 Restaurant was a divine introduction to the Senegalese cuisine. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is delicious. This place feels like a dream!
First time trying Senegalese food and I had an awesome experience from start to finish. The girl working at the front desk was extremely polite and gave me a great recommendation of the foods I should order.All of the food was delicious a lot of the food I got was oniony but the spices accompanied with it made each dish unique!The plantains were also awesome as a side item which I wasn't sure if I'd even like because I hate the flavor of banana but they tasted more like a pastry...read full review

It took the guy a while to ask for my order, although he saw me. The older guy came out from the back and was very polite and helpful, and I ended up ordering 4 meals. All were wonderful, I ordered the fish with rice, okra sauce with lamb that was fall off the bone tender and rice, the leaf sauce and rice, and the grilled chicken with rice.
