“Everyone's heard of the Chinese old wives tale that Chinese restaurants secretly substituting the chicken for something other than actual chicken.. So when I order I make sure I steer clear of the meat, just incase. Except for Bamboo House restaurant in Circleville, Ohio. When I was 18 yrs old, I waitressed there, so I got to see behind closed doors, 1 day the health inspector surprised us. They received great reviews & got an A! So I tell everyone I know that Bamboo House is not only a delicious Chinese restaurant but also clean & safe, just the way I like it! Few complain about the prices, but my opinion is that the prices are 100% reasonable for the portion amount given for each dish, & it's absolutely delicious! I soo recommend this restaurant to whomever loves good Chinese food!!“
“This is very delicious, homemade, terrifically prepared Chinese food.Delicious Honey Chicken, Pepper Steak (it needed a little salt), Seafood mixture (hot & cold ones).Very nice fried rice; there were chunks of pork in it. (you can’t find that anywhere) There were so many other dishes I want to try another time.Great Buffalo Wings, & terrific appetizers. (I get so many appetizers; I love them)The little lime & coconut cake squares, strawberry covered bananas, fresh melon, & some other desserts were terrific.Quite kind & friendly staff. Very clean & nice dining room.I loved this buffet restaurant.Vegetarian options: I’m not vegetarian, but several dishes were only vegetables. I’m not sure of all the rules for being vegetarian. The corn nuggets were one good appetizer.“
“Was average Asian fast food. Seems like all of their orange chicken is mostly batter nowadays and less chicken in it. It was hot and freshly made. Rice was done. I wish they had knives. “Very clean store and pleasant employees. The food is always fresh, and the portions are the perfect size. I really appreciate the effort made to make the fast food experience a great one!Parking: The only driveway entrance is from the roadway behind the restaurant between the auto store and the bank. A little confusing, but worth the stop.“
“I moved from Columbus to Circleville a couple of years ago and was worried about not having a good Chinese restaurant down here but thank goodness for Hokkaido!! It's delicious! My favs include the crab rangoon, honey chicken, sesame chicken, orange chicken, and the wor sue gai!“
