“A wonderful date night!! The ambiance is wonderful...warm and inviting space with live piano playing. Our wonderful waitress Marlena was very helpful and couldn't have been sweeter and more helpful. Food was delicious and d the drinks were creative and very tasty!! Can't wait to go back!!'“
“Absolutely loved Easter dinner. The atmosphere was delightful, the service impeccable, and the food was simply divine. From the beautifully decorated tables to the mouthwatering array of dishes, every detail was perfect. Can’t wait to go back.“
“My wife and I were making our first visit to Cleveland and chose Il Venetian based on what we'd read on-line. We were delighted. Food, service, and ambience were all impeccable. Our waiter was attentive and informative without being intrusive. The sommelier was in equal parts friendly, unpretentious, and knowledgeable and steered us to an Amarone that was other-worldly.With respect to our food selections, we had the Waygu carpaccio and clam chowder as appetizers; the agnolotti and rigatoni as mains; and the olive cake for dessert. Truly delicious.“
“I was traveling through the area and am very fortunate to have found this jewel! The atmosphere was welcoming and the food was absolutely fantastic!! I started with fried pickles, which were crunchy and simply delightful. Our entrees were incredible. It was obvious that the food was prepared fresh from high quality ingredients, and I want to come back again and again!!!!!“
“What a complete joy to dine at Johnny's. The welcome from first entering into the place (to Bo & Joe & all the others making us feel like they were happily waiting for us to come),, to Nate's great serving and attitude to please —to the actual awesome puttanesca with shrimp and perfectly prepared salmon....why go anywhere else on a Friday in Lent! So grateful for the night!“
“We had a great dinner, wine and of course pastries. Valerio is a fantastic cook and I can see the passion when he comes out of the kitchen with a fabulous platters of pastas, platters of meats like lollipop lamb chops and bistecca alla fiorentina.. ❤️“
“Went here with my basketball team for dinner and when I tell you, this is the best restaurant I have ever been to when it comes to food, atmosphere, and service. The owners were sure to greet us and were very polite. I Will be back again when visiting Cleveland. This is my number one spot to go to.“
“The real deal. The only thing I regret is eating it in my car. The sandwich was full of flavor and heat ( I got the trifecta) and the onion rings were hot and crispy. The au jus was delicious and the garlic aioli was delectable. Will be coming back, but I’ll eat it at the bar top.“
“Difficult wheelchair accessibility; coming with a friend or calling the restaurant will be necessary.Excellent little mom & pop, family oriented Italian neighborhood meals. Prices that are extremely reasonable for the high quality of food, generous portions, a focused menu that still has a good selection, and good drinks selection. The veal is prepared very well!Wheelchair accessibility: A single step is required to get in the entrance. A ramp will be provided if a wheelchair is present, but the ramp is extremely short and nowhere close to ADA standards; a manual chair can make it work with assistance, but I recommend not coming in a power chair at all.“
“Amazing, amazing gem of a restaurant! The food was delicious- we loved the calamari and pizza. The owner is very kind and generous- he made us feel very welcomed. The customer service is all about quality - and not quantity. Our waitress was also sweet and sincere. We felt very welcomed and will definitely be back again!“
“I made reservations to celebrate my birthday here and the staff was very accommodating. I had to stay within a certain amount of people for my reservation and at the last minute I had to make an adjustment that put me outside of that limitation. The staff/management was very understanding and helpful, which was a huge relief for me. When we arrived everyone was very kind and patient as some of my guests were late. They were also very attentive to my dietary restrictions as a vegan. I ordered 3 dishes including the vegan entree. The vegan entree (miso eggplant) didn’t taste that good to me and I was reluctant to say anything, but I’m glad I did. Robin our server asked what I didn’t like about it and used the feedback to have them remake the dish with custom adjustments for taste. It was so much tastier when they brought it back out and I was extremely grateful for the overall care and consideration. She took pictures of our dinner party and they served me a vegan desert with a candle to celebrate my birthday. This was a great experience for me and my guests and I am glad I chose this restaurant to celebrate. The customer service from top to bottom was superb.“
“Hosted a bridal shower for ~20 people. Brian & the team were amazing and so accommodating - brought everyone drinks as they needed refilled, let us bring in flowers / our own desserts. The food was a huge hit with all of the guests. Everything was perfect!!!“
“Came in on a whim but dang dude this was the best Italian sub I've had in Cleveland. I got the classic sub with everything on it. The meat is high quality, the bread is super fresh and tastes homemade, the pickled veggies I added to it were delicious. The chicken Parm was just as bangin and the pepperoni roll was the perfect size and it comes with marinara dipping sauce.“
“Some of the best Italian food in the city. It's small and cozy but when you sit down, you're sitting at their dinner table on a Sunday afternoon. It's an experience you have to have. Outstanding food, incredible service and reasonable prices. It's a must!“
“Went there for my daughter's birthday. Enjoyed a great evening. Her food came out a bit late and though we were enjoying our time, they went out of their way to make it better - they bought a round of drinks, took her dinner off the tab and gave her a "Borgata" snow cap. In addition they had the whole place sing "Happy Birthday". Couldn't have had a better time or a better group of people running the place. Can't wait to go back.“
“Did not have a great experience for the happy hour bar. Both drinks we had were subpar at best. Horrible, actually.Food and service at the table were outstanding. All food came out fresh and hot . The bar fills up very quickly, and there are certainly better places to have a drink close by.“
“A very busy Italian place, recommend calling ahead for reservations. The food is pretty good, the octopus and calamari special I got was just okay, but the mushroom ravioli my wife got was better than mine but wasn't like fantastic and making us want more. Service was very good though and quick.“
“Trattoria has become a Little Italy favorite of mine. I have nothing negative to say. Positives are many. I do very much appreciate that they are open for lunch. This sets Trattoria apart from many restaurants in the area. I also appreciate that they have a parking lot. It is no surprise to anyone familiar with Little Italy that parking can be problematic in the neighborhood. The service is beyond reproach. I am a huge fan of the Con Carne Pizza, the Eggplant Parmesan, the Carrot Cake and the Tiramisu“
“Visited this week for a business dinner. There were a lot of us in a back room, so your results may vary from mine. Overall, I really enjoyed the evening, the location and the staff. The place outside looked like a strip mall but inside looked like a real deal steakhouse. From the bar back, things looked refined & relaxed. Enjoyed the stay. Since we were a large-ish group, I was there a while and was never uncomfortable. The staff were efficient, good, and light-humored in a grumpy way. It wasn't like they were seriously angry, just as if being put off was part of the schtick. Light-heartedly put off would be the summary. As if everything was a bother and an inconvenience, but maybe not really. After a couple drinks, didn't even notice any more.I started with a Negroni and wanted to hug the bartender. I don't often go with them, I usually like something fruity. But in a steak restaurant with a lot of business friends, I had to act macho and didn't regret it. Negroni's often are made poorly and like scallops, when not done well --- Oof! These were prefect. For an appetizer, salad I decided to go with the lobster bisque. I thought it was a great choice. It was very tasty, a lot of it and a TON of actual protein in it. Lots of nice, delicate chunks of real lobster meat. Well done there.Since I was in a seafood mood in a steak restaurant, I went with the Surf & Turf. I'm a rube, so I ordered the steak portion in medium. For a steak restaurant I was sorely surprised with the meat. I would just give it an OK. I was looking for outstanding, but that just didn't do it. A bit overcooked (even for a medium!) and I almost had the aftertaste of a piece of liver. Not as tasty as I would have wanted. On reflection, I should have gotten some sort of saucy side to cover it. I hate to recommend adding it (I was taught BBQ sauce hides poor brisket), but it is what it is. However, the lobster was really good. It wasn't a large thing. An over sized prawn. But it was tasty and filleted out for you so it was even easier to eat. The asparagus and mashed potatoes with it were par for the course. As a business meal - recommended and would do it again. On my own dime with a date, I would have been far more brutal in the review.“
“Mia Belle is fantastic all around. It is our favorite restaurant in Cleveland. The food is always fresh and flavorful. The chef changes things up routinely with various seasonal specials so there is always something new to try. The entire team at Mia Bella is friendly and attentive. 10 out of 10 recommend.“
“A nice slice of Little Italy. The food was fantastic and what I was hoping for in my first visit. Tight dining area? Very little parking? Yes, but it added to the experience and I wouldn't complain since the food and atmosphere was deliciously fantastic.“
“When my husband passed away. Me and my kids were looking for a place after the funeral service. The funeral home recommended Vittorios. We made plans with them picked a menu. It was excellent! The food was excellent! The service was excellent! The amisphere was so comfortable. The food taste like the way my grandmother used to make. The staff made everyone feel comfortable and were very attentive to everyone's needs. Thank you Vittorios! May God bless you!“
“Our appetizers were frog legs- lightly fried( yummy) and mussels. We ordered a bottle of wine and enjoyed sipping and watching the books and servers do their thing. We split veal scallopini which came with a little ziti pasta in red sauce and Parmesan cheese. We had cannolis for dessert which were delicious. The waiter was incredible, actually one of the best I've had in awhile. The food was reasonably priced and we just really enjoyed the whole evening. Would go there again tonight if I could!“
“I love giving pizza reviews!! I just happened to find this place, let me tell im sooo glad I did!! I ordered a 16" Big Bill and you can taste everything perfectly! Its priced right, great service, its clean n smells good!! In case you missed it ITS GREAT “
“Our favorite Italian restaurant in Cleveland. Really enjoy their calzones and lasagna. Quality of the food here is consistent and good!! Servers are always nice. Pleasant atmosphere and a great city vibe. Eating outside in the enclosed garden is a special treat!Parking: During busy times parking lot can get pretty full, but we always find a space no matter.“
“We stopped in here on a whim and so glad we did. We ordered the zucchini planks, Cesar salad, wedding soup, a pizza and you know we had to get canolli to go! They were all amazing and so fresh and delicious. Our server was super nice and made us feel welcome and explained the menu to us being our first time. One hundred percent would eat here again when I'm in the area.“
“Italian food at its best! Long surviving family owned restaurant with generous portions of tasty well prepared offerings. Any chicken dish is superb…piccata, Marsala, parmigiana, genovese…ummm. Outstanding thin crusted gluten free pizza made spectacular with mozzarella cheese (mushroom & sausage added). Incredible steak salad. Wonderful Merlot house wine. Tasty bread rolls. Fabulous Italian wedding soup. Wonderful servers and staff. And earn reward points to apply to a future meal. And the take-out Family Packs are a fantastic price with an abundance of food. We love this place, truly love it!“
“One of the best kept secrets on Chagrin Boulevard and a short distance from the busy area where all the restaurants are located. The place is nicely laid out and decorated, with a bar, two dining rooms, a fireplace, and big tables that can accommodate large parties with ease. Plenty of choices on the menu, all Italian (obviously), with excellent service and relatively high prices.Vegetarian options: Veggie Pizza, Salads, and Pasta Dishes with No Meat.Parking: Big parking lot by the building where the restaurant is located.“
“Wonderful high-end Italian dining experience with an adventurous menu and excellent white tablecloth service. You need a reservation to sit at a table but the bar is almost always empty and you can have an excellent meal there with the capable and entertaining bartenders.“
“Our server, Eugene, was excellent. He was formal as well and friendly. He was attentive and prompt. He helped make our excellent meals more enjoyable. The noise level was pretty high, but the room was crowded and the tables were close together. It is expensive, but for special occasions, just right.“
“Its a piece of Little Italy deli down in the Valley, staff is awesome... Chicken parmesan on a fresh hoagie style bun is on point... Sausage and peppers with mozzarella on hoagie bun is a favorite along with the fresh made white pizza sold by the slice or the antipasto salad is just delicious. All servings are plentiful. Coca-Cola products.“
“This pizza was great if you love thin crispy crust fresh toppings in excess you're going to love this placeVegetarian options: Pizza pasta salads sandwichesParking: Large lot in front of the door gatedWheelchair accessibility: Door and seating“
“Look, I'd give this place 5 stars but I dont like to overhype a spot. I will say this though: Geraci's has been in University Heights since 1956, and it's no question why. Geraci's offers a full menu of Italian based cuisine but for me, it's largely about the pizza. The occasional eggplant parm add-on, or the frequent house salad are ordered, but the pizza is our go-to. Personally, we go for the deluxe, and the Red Sicilian (no cheese except grated Romano). On the red, its a perfect bread and red sauce bite. On the deluxe, all veggies are fresh (particularly the mushrooms, uncanned), and the meats are unique. Nowhere in Cleveland have I tasted a sausage like on a Geraci's pizza. I have wondered if it is made in house, but note it does have fennel seed (which I love, and almost require) and is crumbled finely. The pepperoni is likewise unique. I have no idea where they source it, but it is nicely spicey, and hand-sliced. It's a hallmark thing for a Geraci's pie. Hand-sliced, slightly irregular pieces of pepperoni, which at times feel like "the steak of Italian charcuterie" (my own words). Bottom line: try a pepperoni and/or a pie of your choice, pair it with an Italian red wine like a Montepulciano or a glass-bottle Coke, and go from there.“
“I haven't left a review yet and just have to. This is the second time I have ordered lobster here and OMG best lobster ever. My partner always gets veal Parmesan that is also outstanding. I've had lobster in Maine and hands down Angelo's is the BEST. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Atmosphere, waitress/waiters are amazing.“
“The best pizza in this area!! We tried many pizzas in different restaurants but my boyfriend and I agreed that Abo's pizza was the best. Their crust/dough was so good and had an excellent flavor. It was relatively thin but could hold the toppings. We had one of their specialty pizzas, Mediterranean, together with a Caesar salad. Large pizza was more than enough to share for two people. Service was good, prices were reasonable but we thought $10 for a piece of cheese cake was a bit steep. Anyways, we will go back there for sure.Update:We went back & ordered Calamari, Margarita Pizza (BEST) , Linguine with Calamari, & Gnocchi. Ordering a bottle of wine for three of us worked perfectly ?“
“We went with a large group of 24, for a dear friend’s Birthday. Ed Cerino’s could not have been more accommodating. Our evening was excellent from service to food . Our waitress worked both table like the professional she was. She did not miss a beat. “Thank You” Elyssa”, you were wonderful. The food was five star, everyone loved their dishes. Many people in the group had never been there. Thank you Eddie and Elyssa. Also, a shout out to the bartenders. We ended up stopping in the bar for a nightcap. Great job, everyone.“
“The server was very nice and perfectly attentive. The pizza was absolutely superb, from the amazing crust to the delicious toppings. Not only that, but the giant slices are rather reasonably priced for how large they are. Our food came out surprisingly quickly. The atmosphere inside was very nice, cool decor and comfortable seats. I typically do not like a wooden both seat, but the ones here were actually surprisingly comfortable.“
“My wife and I have looked forward to enjoying a meal at this location. We had read wonderful reviews and being fans of Italian cuisine, we were excited to have a meal here. We were not disappointed with our selections and thoroughly enjoyed the authentic atmosphere. I was transported back to my grandmother's house and the smells coming from her kitchen. We definitely look forward to coming again.“
“Great restaurant family owned and great atmosphere and service. Great place to spend your lunch time.Parking: Great wheelchair accessible and close to restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Great kids food on menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap accessible and great parking“
“This parlor, was a nice little spot being in a very accessible area yet not in the thick of it. Food and everything was great and service was dope but being a pizza snob and being well versed in what quality ones pizza would fall under, I honestly had just one comment and/or complaint. With the quality bracket that your pie fell in, in my opinion based on my past experiences, unfortunately ya'll need to chop that price down. Knowing that the price is the absolute last thing your gonna wanna touch or adjust without facts, figures from more than just little ol me. Just saying, yall would have locked me in as a weekly regular for sure, gotta have my pizza why not from you. Well, your way too expensive so I didn't come back ever“
“One of the better Pizza places in Cleveland. Great parking with Handicap access. They also have Fish selections for lent. I am definitely going back for anyone pie soon!Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian selections. Especially with the pizzas.Parking: Lots of parking in the back, and wheelchair win the front.Kid-friendliness: I saw several families with children. I didn’tPay attention as to a child’s selection on the menu, but what kid doesn’t love pizza?Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair access available.“
“Maybe I am biased because I have been getting pizza here since a child ..... But I have lived in several states. And I can promise you there is no pizza that even comes close to what you will find here at Romito's Pizza West in Independence ...Unfortunately, this applies to every other Romitos pizza that you will find that is not Romitos Pizza West in Independence ...So please don't be fooled by the name on the sign because in this case it's all about the location ...It's all about the people ...It's all about the hometown atmosphere ...It's all about exceptional service ...Of course it's all about the food!“
“We held a surprise 65th wedding anniversary celebration for a total of 10 guests.Tanya, our server, was a superstar!! She deserves 100 stars. The food was served in generous portions, at the same time, and everyone loved it!Highly recommended.“
“Great, friendly service. Excellent pizza. I had a relatively large takeout order - six pies and some wings - on a Saturday night. It was ready at the time I requested and the pizza was delicious. I was nervous because it didn’t have straight 5-star reviews, but it was the closest pizza spot to my apartment so I gave it a try. Exceeded expectations on all fronts.“
“This was my first time dining here per my parent's recommendation. Overall, it was a good experience. The house Italian on the side salad was delicious! The oil for the bread had some kick but was very good and flavorful. I ordered the chicken parm (not featured in a photo) and thought it was quite tasty. I really liked the sauce which had a nice sweetness to it. Unfortunately, they were busy and possibly understaffed as it took about 15 minutes before we were asked to place a food order. The atmosphere is cute overall but a bit too plain. I was here on a Wednesday night where they run a generous special on their chicken parm.“
“their food is delicious.... I'll get on a Kick and I'll start eating it everyday for weeks and then I won't eat for a while then I'll start eating is again...ECT ECT ....Wheelchair accessibility: they have is it wider so handicap ppl can get in the restaurant too...“
“The food here is amazing. A large variety of Italian American food including pizza, salads, and soups. It's a very cramped space so you are sitting close to others and the walkways are tight and the noise from the kitchen rails though the place. Despite any downfalls, it's worth it for the food, except for the Calamari was over cooked.“
“We showed up yesterday late morning with 14 hockey players and their families - they were incredibly fast with both taking our orders and bringing the food out. The food was amazing and the service was excellent!! We already know where we are going next time we are in the area!“
“Stopped in last night for dinner . Service was just as amazing as the food. Great vibe in the place ! The food tasted very fresh . Josh stopped by to check on us and make sure everything was perfect. He was great! Great experience all around. Definitely be back !“
“Vero has expanded- same great pizza in a stylish setting. Service is great, and they’re good with kids- high chairs are available. Cleveland has a fantastic pizza scene and Vero is at the top.Vegetarian options: They have pizza that appeals to vegans and vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and the team was kid-friendly.“
