I am a picky Italian when it comes to Italian food and Alesci's has some of the best Italian food in Cleveland. We sat in the upper lounge & bar area which is moody and atmospheric. The food was also amazing. I highly recommend the regular menu Pork Chop item - get the BBQ sauce on the side as the chop itself it phenomenal without it and I went back and forth using the sauce or not. “We got a last minute reservation on a Friday night after a recommendation. We weren’t sure what to expect, and we were VERY happy! I had a delicious classic Paper Plane cocktail and hubby ordered a bottle of red wine. We started with frog legs as an appetizer…lightly fried, and so much garlic and lemon…perfection! I had the chicken pitta, my husband had veal parm (our server Tony suggested it as it would go great with the wine he chose). Both dishes were so plentiful we each took half home. The amount of artichokes and red peppers on my piccata was very generous, they don’t skimp on anything! We ended the night with Affogato and it was also wonderful. Bottom line is the whole experience was great! We can’t wait to be back in Cleveland and come back…don’t miss out.“

“Outstanding experience at Trio's Italian Grill in Mentor! It felt like being welcomed into a family's home — so warm and kind. They were wonderful with our son who is on the spectrum. I had the Chicken Piccata, my husband had the Chicken Pasta Carbonara, and our son loved the corn dog bites. Service and food were both top-notch! She even baked fresh cookies for us to take home and came out to the car to say goodbye to our son. We left with wonderful desserts and will definitely be back next time we're in town!!“

“Very low key but if you know you know. I caught the chicken parmesean special. The chicken was crispy and help up against the sauce. You also get a salad and bread. Everything was ok but the atmosphere wasn't really welcoming. It kinda reminded me of a scene in Goodfellows and the Sopranos. It looks like you could have easily ran into John Gotti!!“

Mary was hands down the best waitress we’ve ever had—top-notch friendly, incredibly informative, and she truly made the entire night memorable. We can’t say enough great things about her. “Only wish we had gone sooner! Everything was truly top-notch, and we can’t wait to go back.

We started with the garlic bread, which wasn’t pictured, and then I had the Chicken Alfredo with a chicken cutlet. Next time, I might skip the chicken and just enjoy the Alfredo because the sauce was absolutely amazing! The portion was generous enough to share, too.

My husband ordered the Linguini Frutti di Mare and was pleasantly surprised by the mussels and clams. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful.

We also tried their limoncello shot and spritzer. I loved the limoncello shot, and my husband really enjoyed the spritzer.

If you’re looking for great Italian food and some of the best pasta in Northeast Ohio, this is definitely worth a visit. The only challenging part is parking, but the food is more than worth it!
