“I was greeted by a courteous and professional man who was also patience with me being a little indecisive. They have a lot to offer from their menu. The environment was open, spacey,and clean. I ordered the chicken philly,a chicken quesadilla, and a shrimp po boy and I didn't wait very long, my order was correct, and the food presentation was pleasing to the eye. The chicken philly had too much salt and I couldn’t eat it. The shrimp po boy was phenomenal! The shrimp were a nice size, the bread was grilled, and the chipotle sauce was good,tomatoes, and lettuce was fresh as well! The chicken quesadilla was also good and everything was portioned decently! The fries are fresh cut which is a plus and the seasoning on them gave me a salt vinegar & ranch vibe but I assure you that I was satisfied and would definitely be back! “Having a tip automatically added to the bill of two people is off-putting. For the record, I'm a good Tipper. I did actually add to the 15% automatically added because our server was awesome. But tipping is an addition, not part of the bill. Heck, add it to the cost of the food and I'll pay it. but not in tipping. that's my choice.“

“The food and atmosphere is amazing. I’ve been there twice now and we loved everything. Do yourself a favor and get a purple rain or a jolly rancher drink. It may have given me diabetes but it was worth it. 😂 the honey chicken was great but the soul food pasta was to die for. I highly recommend this place. The only thing better than the food was the service. Our waiter was very attentive and made his own personal recommendations on what to eat. I wish I could remember his name to give him credit but we’ll be back again!!! Update: Harold was our server and he is the greatest.“

“My families favorites so far are the banana pudding, macaroni and cheese, stuffed corn bread, and fries. There is also an in house tangy hot sauce that goes well on everything. The food is reminiscent of dinner at granny's house with a modern flare. It's really good.“

“I ordered food from this location and I must say..YAY! The food was well seasoned. No added salt or pepper necessary. The portions are on point. I received enough meatloaf to feed 2 people but not complaining. Ribs were tender as well. Prices are reasonable. I'll keep patronizing for sure. The only negative comment is the dessert. They could use a baker to help their business grow. Everything else is on point so why not the desserts. Thank you Gram Gram for your friendly staff as well. I'm very picky on food quality and happy to support you. Great place to go for a week day or Sunday dinner. I wish I could bake cakes for you..sorry🙂“

“10 out of 10 definitely recommend!! I wish I had photos to share but we devoured everything!! The ribs have so much flavor and falling off the bone!! The Mac cooked to perfection!! Best yams I’ve ever had, even better than mine lol. Chicken wings crispy juicy and delicious!! We wanted to try something new and they did not disappoint!! It’s truly some blessed hands in that kitchen! Thank you for making my Mother’s Day even better!!“

“On 2/3/25, I need to know the name of the person who cooked the smothered pork chops, greens, mash potatoes from scratch, broccoli. Everything was so good, seasoned and nice portions. First time ordering from this place, I can’t wait to go back. Gave them a five star for everything even though I ordered DoorDash 😊“

“The food is absolutely delicious! I am going on my 3rd year of a meatless diet and I am so happy to have discovered this place of business. Everything was flavorful and those sweet potato muffins were so moist. I highly recommend trying them out whether you are a vegetarian or not, you will enjoy the food! 😋“

“I ordered the chicken stuffed potatoe it was delicious. The only problem I would say is they put ranch on the potatoes instead of sour cream. You would need to find out first if people like ranch. The sour cream was extra.?

“I went here to enjoy a night out with staff and it was the perfect little bar that we needed. The staff was so friendly and great listeners. I ordered a tequila sunrise and a prime rib philly steak sub with fries and mozzarella sticks. I absolutely loved both! The mozzarella sticks are topped with parmesan cheese and were cooked just right. This is a great place for a quick bite to eat and drink. The Dj was also full of life and was very entertaining ? Thank you! ?“

“WOW - the food is wow and the service is wow. I'll start with the Staff as, they deserve it - Ashley was our server and she was above fantastic. Honestly, the entire staff, every single person we met that worked there was so incredibly polite - and I don't mean 'trained to be scripted to the restaurants script' polite, I mean, genuinely kind and personable. It was my first time at this restaurant and I honestly felt like I had been there a million times, that's how inviting the vibes are here. Now - on to the food. I had the herb baked chicken and merciful heavens, it was FANTASTIC (sides I sampled that I loved were the fried green tomatoes and their house potatoes). I would feel comfortable in a fancy dress or jeans & my favorite sweatshirt here - it's just, it's homey and makes you feel so welcome. If you're looking for a great dinner with friends or family - I highly recommend this lovely Cleveland restaurant. Super honorable mention to the CHAIRS...I literally googled a photo of one and am replacing our kitchen island chairs with them, yep that comfy.“

“I just tried Mattie Ruth's for the first time and I got the smothered pork chops with tomatoes with okra, mac and cheese. It was the best tasting food. The porkchops were so good that the made me cry. I will eat here again, just might be lunch today.“

“Went to Sylk’s this evening on Mayfield Road. Tasha the manager challenged me that she’d have me done and satisfied in 7 minutes or less. She did it in 6. Plus she handled other orders. I am was elated. Keep it up Sam!“
