CMB Soul Food is a neighborhood takeout restaurant known for its lively atmosphere and attentive service. The menu offers a variety of dishes, but some items may be unavailable due to popularity. Standout meals include the chicken stuffed potato and chicken & shrimp over rice. Customers should be aware that ranch dressing is used instead of sour cream for the stuffed potato, which may be an additional charge. Parking can be found on the street or near the building, but it may be limited when the restaurant is busy.
The food is generally well-received, with customers praising the taste of the dishes. However, some have noted that the cooking time can be longer than expected, with a wait of up to an additional 30 minutes for the food to be ready. Additionally, some customers have expressed a desire for more topping options, such as cilantro, green onions, sour cream, and jalapeños.
Despite these minor drawbacks, CMB Soul Food is a popular neighborhood spot, and the food is considered very good by many customers.
