“The Prestis I remember is from 1987 it was known as Prestis Donuts. It was located further down, a corner shop that remained open 25/7, the reason being… the shop had no doors to lock. Yes, it was a donut shop (I think cannolis too) and not a sit down place. Best donuts in Cleveland, be it 2 AM or 2 PM.

“I got my Haircut by Nito Who owns the barbershop connected to the bakery, and his wife made me a cake that I customized for my fiancé I cannot even tell you how beautiful it was presented, and the taste was beyond fantastic. I would highly recommend paradise cakes to anybody at all.“

“I had high hopes for Bella Luna, touted as the best spot for empanadas in the city, but my experience was nothing short of dismal. From the moment I stepped inside, I was met with a shocking level of rudeness from the cashier, who also happened to be the cook. His attitude was appalling; it felt as though he was genuinely irritated that we dared to enter the establishment.

Every interaction was a struggle, as he mumbled out responses that left me wondering if he even wanted to be there. When I asked about the menu, his dismissive reply about the lack of Spanish rice was almost enough to make me walk out before placing an order. It’s hard to believe that a place with such a reputation could deliver such terrible customer service. I drove all the way from Akron, expecting a delightful meal, only to be met with disgust and disdain. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a welcoming dining experience.“

“I'm giving this place 5 stars bc I believe the tres leches is one of the best in the country, absolutely best in CLE. You get a ton of the milk sauce which I love, it's a very generous portion, and it tastes amazing. The whipped cream on top is actual cream, so there's no weird aftertaste that you get with cool whip. My favorite is the strawberry version , the tartness of the strawberries perfectly cuts the sweetness of the cake/milks. I can't recommend it enough!

“Their Pound cake is great, homemade by somebody's Momma. Stopped for some crusty soft bread to go with some beef stew they had only one available and it was the rightone, it was crispy and flakey on the outside heated it just touch and butter and it was on. Yes I had forgot about this place almost went out the way then it hit me in my neighborhood. What a gem. Have tried many items I can't pronounce but it was GOOD all the same. Don't miss out. Only draw back no parking, park in postoffice lot.“

“Chupas is how the West Side Market USED to be when I was a kid but better. The city of Cleveland is managing the West Side Market and has destroyed its reputation of being an Old World European styled Market with the Huge Variety of items it Used To have and the Vendors they have Driven out, Vendors that gave it it's character of Old World European. Thank GOD for Chupas, holding to the old world style!
Now, if Cleveland would change to that style, their business would flourish as it needs to. I loved going to the West Side Market weekly, but not today.“

“Best to come in from Harvard Ave to 71st. Go right to Park Ave. Right to stop sign just before RR tracks. Park there and check in. You’ll need to swing wide to make the left into customers yard and hug the building. The young lady there is very helpful and will guide you in. Once in the yard the dock is easy. No overnight parking and do not show up too early for your appointment (no where to park). Fast unloading and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful“

“My partner and I stopped into Lake Erie Scoops and left absolutely blown away. We tried the birthday cake ice cream which was so fun and delicious, but the real star of the show was the Oreo cream pie. This was not just pie. This was a life-changing, time-stopping, everything-else-fades-away kind of pie. I am not exaggerating when I say it is the best pie I have ever eaten in my life. One bite felt like it should be written about in history books. It was that extraordinary.

We also loved how easy their to go setup was. More ice cream shops should take notes because it made the whole experience even sweeter. The owner was an absolute sweetheart who made us feel so welcome.

You’ll never find better gluten free bread than this-I’ve tried over 30 different gluten free breads and this one rises above them all. 10/10 recommend. WOW, these were some delicious pillows of goodness. I had the maple bacon and a raspberry. It put all of us in a good mood. And yes we settled the case. I’m not saying the donuts did it, but those certainly helped. Fresh, tasty, and nutritious.“
