“the food here is always good whenever I order.. but this morning I was really upset with this service! firstly it was 10:37am when I arrived and breakfast was already shut down early which was annoying.. then I proceeded to place an oder through the app and I used a deal with a coffee order which gave me the choice of getting most of any of the coffees for $2 and I believed I didn't click a large which was what I originally wanted! instead I received a small and one of the younger workers was really patient with me about my concern with that.. until this older short white lady with glasses came up and tried to basically finesse me saying that if I wanted to switch it out with a large I would have to pay the original price for the drink which was around $4 something.. but I had already used my $2 app deal so giving me a large wouldn't have been any major difference! I feel she just wanted to control the situation by finessing me with charging me $ 2 extra dollars which I feel was really unnecessary especially considering those larges aren't that large in size *>> via cups sizes!“
“Had a couple meals here with my wife and Cathy was so hardworking- cleaning the tables and greeting customers with a big smile. I noticed her even opening the two doors for a lady with her hands full .dont get that kind of service even at a fancy five star restaurant. Keep up the good work and spreading goodness“

“I rarely ever take the time to write reviews, but this one is WELL DESERVED! My husband and I just experienced the best, top tier customer service at this McDonald’s tonight (9-4-24). I asked for two of the workers names who were serving us, Destiny & Josephine. They were the kindest, sweetest, and most polite service workers I’ve probably ever met- Both so smiley, friendly, & joyful. It truly makes a remarkable difference to customers when the employees serving you are pleasant & friendly. We frequent multiple McDonald’s locations throughout the city of Cleveland & surrounding suburbs (our McD’s apps could verify this), and I can honestly say this was the best service we’ve ever received. That is why I made sure to ask for their names so that they could be recognized for their amazing work. After writing this Google review, I will be sure to call the # on our receipt to leave another positive review there, as well. They deserve all of the recognition! I know people leave bad reviews all the time when they receive terrible service, and I’m a firm believer in recognizing others when they do well and perform above & beyond. Not only was their customer service incredible, but our food was also hot, fresh, delicious, & perfectly made to order - just as we requested. THANK YOU SO MUCH to Destiny, Josephine, and the rest of E. 55th McD’s crew! Your customers are grateful & appreciative for your hard work! ? “When we stopped, the computers were down, so nobody was able to order any food, but the staff was absolutely lovely and offered us complementary coffees. They were so kind and just made us feel so welcomed. Absolutely five stars all day. Will definitely be back.“
“The personnel spoke clearly and were courteous. They handled the food and drinks with care. Their conversations with each other was also courteous. They worked together to achieve seamless service.
Kid-friendliness: The toys in the Happy Meals relate to a current movie character that the children are familiar. It causes the children to plan for a future visit to collect all the characters on the meal box.“
“All right so it started off not so great. I put in an order this morning about 8:40 a.m. and then sat in my car for a pickup order for 50 minutes. A worker had just coming to work to start his shift. By the time I hir about the 40 minute Mark within 10 minutes he brings me my order. Greatly apologizes for it and ensured that my food arrived hot and in perfect condition. I will say originally I was going to leave a negative review but this one gentleman who came out and brought my food change the whole vibe quite honestly, I'm definitely going to be coming back specifically because of him as I was getting ready to be irate but this young man came out and shifted my whole mood. He was very apologetic but not only was he apologetic as he only apologized twice, but he took full responsibility for it despite him only just coming into work. That shows a content of character that I find very rare nowadays. I deeply respect this man and I hope he gets treated appropriately in the future.“
“Let me start by saying fast food is not the reason for my review. This location is cleaner than most, it has a child area for playing which comes in clutch for the parents wanting to ease their minds and stress a little. Plus tire out the little ones. And if you enjoy the McDonalds menu then this one is as good as any other. Just the location has everything to offer that McDonald's can offer.“

“Customer service is horrible, I ordered from my mobile app, there isn't an option to ask for a cup of ice. I told the first cashier was told no problem the second worker yelled at me saying u have to order that back at the speaker and slammed the window! Disgusting“
“Well I ordered a med coffee w 3 crms n 3 sugars n med Dr. Pepper to go at kiosk / It took 24 min n there was only 1 other person waiting for food before me ! She handed me empty cup for pop n my cup of coffee ! Coffee great perfect ! And no tissue in handicap stall ( which they remedied immediately ) ! The lids were nasty ( like something spilled on them ) ! Ladies were nice n respectful ! So I'm a little perplexed ! Lol 🤪“

“The girl at the drive-through was courteous when there was ice cream equipment failure and offered substitution or refund. I opted for substitution. She offered drink selections, I chose O.J. That dispenser, too, wasn't working as well given two attempts. She then offered lemonade. I admired her patience. We were missing a large no ice Coke from our mobile order and did not get a paper receipt. The order had already been removed from the overhead monitor. She looked resolute and provided the missing drink. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! She deserves positive recognition 👏 ⭐.“
“McDonald's on Lorain Ave is the worst one to go to you have to wait to get waited on and the some of the worker are rude plus you have to wait a long time to get your food and the fries are never hot.and they forget to give you all your food you ordered.“

This McDonald’s on Pearl & Denison is more than just fast food — it’s a reminder that kindness still exists. I’ve eaten at many McDonald’s locations, even the mansion one in Independence, OH… but none compare to this one.
What makes this spot so special isn’t just the food — it’s the people. We live in a beautifully diverse neighborhood, but with that comes real-life challenges like poverty. I once saw a man loitering outside, and another customer stepped up and gave the cashier money so he could eat. No questions asked. No judgment. Just pure compassion.
The employees here treat everyone with respect, no matter their background or situation. They don’t just serve — they care. Even my service dog-in-training, Hazel (or as I call her, my angel), has been welcomed warmly. We’ve sat and eaten together with zero issues — just smiles and kindness all around.
Love sees no color at this McDonald’s. The atmosphere is warm, the people are real, and the compassion is unmatched. If you’re looking for more than just a meal — if you’re looking for humanity — this is the place. Thank you to the staff for being the heart of the neighborhood. ❤️“
