“Bar tender was a sweet and responsive lady. Karaoke KJ was not only an amazing singer but also had one of the best sound setups. Good crowd of people having fun. Pool tables in the back.The KJ would also do backup and/or sing male duet parts. One of the nicest KJs I’ve met and I do karaoke all of the US. Only issue was the KJ wouldn’t take my tip! “The location is very cool in downtown history Burlington. In interior is well done and very cozy. It’s a smaller bar but they’ve done a great job with the space. Staff is friendly and make very good cocktails. Bourbon selection is extensive but prices seem a bit high. Definitely worth a stop.

“I ordered a Philly beef quesadilla that came with house made Saratoga chips. The quesadilla was huge and amply filled with shaved steak mozzarella cheese and peppers. It was absolutely delicious and I very much enjoyed the chips as well. The service was fabulous and plenty a big screen sports action to watch while waiting for my meal.“

Cons: Parking is lacking, so expect to park on the street and walk.
The menu... not the food, but the lack of different options and, funny thing, the font they choose made it very difficult to read.

“This is regarding the location inside Turfway Park Racing and Gaming in Florence Kentucky.. Husband and I wanted to come out and watch the band that was there this past Saturday night. Apparently they have a new table service 'rule' in effect. if I understand it correctly, in order to sit at a table and watch the band which doesn't start until 9:30 or later, you MUST order $50 worth of food and or drinks. After the 2 hours that you are there, if you want to stay longer, they will charge you an additional $50. Who are they to tell people how much they must spend on food and drinks? We stood outside of the railing actually in the casino and watched the band for the 1st set.. We saw a couple sitting at a small round table in front of us only order two alcoholic beverages the whole time they were there.. so you are telling me that you expect two people to sit at your table and if they are not ordering food, you expect them to spend $50 on alcohol in order to sit at the table? Unless I am misunderstanding,,, needless to say, we will never ever step foot inside of this restaurant to eat or drink.“

“So I’ve never been to Parkland Theatre, wanted to see Twisters and all the theaters around were full so came across their site and decided to give it a try. We had the whole place to ourselves! Ed the owner was great! Showed the boys a bunch of Reds memorabilia from his bat boy days. We had a few drinks and boys played darts while we waited for the movie. We got 4 movie tickets, a large pizza, bucket of popcorn, 2 sodas, pretzal with cheese, and an order of chicken nuggets. It was only $65! Cinemark would have been $54 just to see the movie. We definitely will be back! We don’t do movies often, but it is nice to see a movie on the big screen and not need a loan to do so and to support a small local business is a plus! Highly recommend!!“

They did originally charge us nine dollars for our three year-old but he ate a little piece of fruit and nothing much else so they did end up taking it off our bill. Thank you for that. For dinner we had the chicken Parmesan and a meatball sandwich. The portions were very generous and good quality. The view of the Ohio River while dining is quite nice.“
