I hadn't been to 5 guys in a few years. Listen...$18 for a fast food cheeseburger is comical. It's dumb. The Cajun fries were excellent as always, but the $18 cheeseburger "all the way" was mediocre. It honestly needs seasoning and flavor. It's likely my last 5 guys burger, TBH.
I always order ahead. I use the little buttons for on my way and arrived. I still never get out of there with my order in any less than 10 minutes.Today I stepped right up to the counter and the employees didn't even acknowledge that I was there. No one asked me the name on my order. I just waited around, watched AT LEAST six other people approach the counter in the exact same manner that I had, and got their to-go orders.
