“We are beyond impressed by the food, great owner, friendly chef, and fantastic experience at Golden Fried Chicken and Fish. This is the place if you’re looking for true southern-style fried catfish. My husband and I went here for lunch. There was plenty of parking and a steady flow of folks in and out for good reason. The owner, J.R., greeted us as soon as we walked in. He was very helpful, informative, and so nice. His staff clearly respects him, and he runs a great shop. It only took 10 minutes to get all our food steaming hot and fresh. I ordered the catfish dinner. My husband ordered the Golden Combo. Just, wow. The flavor on this is 10/10. The last time I had catfish this good was when we were down south. Golden Fried Chicken and Fish is the best catfish in Columbus. Great business, incredible food. We can’t say enough great things.“

“The server Nate was great for plesant service and timely on respond to service. The food was great and just as he Charleston, Sout Carolina. We celebrated Elaine in fine dining. The Vallet parking was nice for parking my F450. Try she crab soup and oyster on half shell. The Columbus Ohio restaurant is beautiful atmosphere“

“The Capital Grille is a beautiful warm and comfy place for dining. the food quality is always excellent. We liked we could substitute a side more to our liking (substituted risotto from another dish to our salmon plate) Both soups were rich and creamy. Service was excellent, although we were a little surprised our entrees took an unusually long time to be served (maybe had to do with the substitution?). We were in no hurry, so it was fine. The pricing for the lunch special was helpful.“

“We had a wonderful experience. Jailo was amazing. My husband ordered oysters and they were so good he ordered more. I had the citrus salad and the blend of citrus, salted pecans and fresh lettuces was unlike other salads you can get anywhere. Shrimp and grits, also unlike other places with added kick of sausage. We left wanting to return the next night. Great food and Jailo's exemplary service with kindness make this a place we will visit each time we are in town.“

“We had friends in town that were staying downtown. They wanted to grab a quick breakfast early (9 am) on a Sunday before hitting the road. The restaurant was not very busy at 9 am, but was getting fairly full by 10 am. \n\nThe Guild House was an excellent spot to meet in the Short North area close to downtown. The Short North is a busy and trendy area near the convention center. However, on this Sunday there was easy (free) street parking (you still had to use the Park Mobile App) nearby. You could also use the valet or a nearby parking garage. \n\nThe service (Baba) was excellent, Friendly and prompt! The food was a little pricey but very good. I had the Eggs Benedict ($17) and coffee ($5). In fact, almost everyone in our group had the same order. \n\nWe definitely noted this place as a great place to meet up with friends in the middle of Columbus. Most folks dressed pretty casual for breakfast.“

The service and food were excellent, just a block away from the hotel I was staying at prices are a bit high but the service and quality was worth it. If prices weren’t a bit high probably would have done in every day of my stay. But for a night out definitely recommend“
