“We were there to celebrate our anniversary. It was a great experience. Wonderful food and service. If there was any downside, it was that it's a bit loud for conversations. But that's a problem with most restaurants in 2026. Restaurants just aren't built for that anymore.“

It was a Sunday, so all day happy hour. Appetizers were 1/2 off. We shared several types of sushi and taquitos to start. Sushi was very fresh. For mains, we got burgers, tacos, and fish sandwich. All very yummy and well-prepared. We shared insanely delicious desserts- chocolate cake - which had more of a brownie consistency but not complaining - and olive oil cake with the best flavored whipped I ever had - creamsicle. Tasted exactly like a creamsicle ice cream bar. Everything was just delicious. Our server was terrific. The only small issue was the servers were stretched a bit thin so it was a while between her visits to the table. But she was very pleasant, friendly and professional. With 1/2 off appetizers and draft beer, it was an excellent value.“

Neither of which I eat. We waited a few minutes for him to come back around and I told him about my issue. He looked mad that I did not want the onions on my food. Literal just gave me a dirty look.I told him to just take it back and I do not need a replacement. My friend did eat his tacos. He didn't come back over to our table for a while. My buddy ran out of his drink for maybe 15-20 minutes. We told the lady at the counter but she didn't seem to care. Hopefully someone does. I've brought a lot of people to this establishment and I myself have spent a ton of money there bringing my family of 5. Ive left good reviews and always spoke highly of this place. I've always bragged about how they have it figured out. Well, today has somewhat ruined it for me. Never once were we rude or out of line. I'm guessing Ismael was having a bad day. “Not the most appealing appearance on the outside and not the best location but.....HANDS DOWN THE ABSOLUTE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN COLUMBUS. I have eaten here since I was 9 years old. I have TASTED every Chinese restaurant in Columbus and this is the BEST,in my opinion! My family and friends also agree. Literally the entire family, from grandma, mom and dad, siblings, and all of our kids , it's the Best.

My absolute favorite place in Columbus been going there since I was about 11 years old and I’m 39 now Family goes there. My children have grown up loving it don’t get it wrong. We go all over and try every Pl., Reynoldsburg Pickerington, Westerville, Arlington, Dublin, West Side, Columbus Hilliard, any place we can find Chinese food we have tried throughout the years and still believe Golden House is 💯#🥇🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟“
