“A mix of modern and more rustic wood accents and walls for the decor. Two separate bars and a variety of seating options. We didn't get to see their regular menu being there on a Sunday morning, but their brunch menu had some unique options.“

“We enjoyed working with Nikki for catering the grad party for our twins. The food was amazing! From the initial tasting he provided to the delivery of the food in containers that fit right into warming trays, everything was delicious. And his portion for 150 people was spot on. We hope he'll send the food truck to Holmes County soon!“

“Franks is the typical hole in the wall and those of you that have read my reviews know I love these places. The service is good at Franks and the bartenders are friendly and can carry a conversation. Atmosphere is very eclectic - see my pictures. The food specials are a deal so make sure to check those out. I had the cowboy burger on this visit but have also had the NY strip which is good. The cowboy burger is sautéd onions, cheddar, bacon and candied jalapeños. Handmade burger and very tasty. Only complaint is the burger was thick but not wide enough to cover the bun. Give Franks a try“

“I can’t recommend Baxter’s Speakeasy enough. It’s the best spot in Akron for a uniquely boutique vibe and the most wonderfully crafted cocktails created by mixology magicians. The vibe is just *right* and it’s exactly what you would want from a speakeasy. The private parties are a charcuterie paradise of sheer meat and cheese wizardry so I definitely recommend inquiring within for your next party.“

“Small inside but has a very nice atmosphere. You mostly see regulars there who stop for a drink after work or are there for the live music on the weekends. The musician's I've seen there have all been very good and the owner Sam is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet .“

“Now I can’t remember the smash burger I had but I know it had the house specialty sauce. In the first bite, the flavors of each item combined create the taste of fresh ingredients. The beef is fresh and local, as in a few miles away local. Everything that makes up that burger was local. I wish I had a picture to show but I smashed it with the quickness. The taste of that juicy burger left me separated from reality until there was nothing left. At that point I zapped back into reality so I didn’t get a pic. I’ll for sure be back again and hopefully get a picture for you all. Also, in the back, the kitchen is impressively clean. It looked as if they had just moved in that day. I arrived just before closing hours and a manager showed me the operations in the back while my burger was being made. Retro Burger has an excellent standard and that is why I’m recommending it. “This is THE SPOT!Small grub spot in the Portage Lakes area with outstanding service and food! Clean and cool atmosphere. Hand breaded Cod is better than places I have had on the CA coast. Fresh cut fries and fresh Broasted chicken is absolutely delicious and the portions leave you full and satisfied.This is a must if your are in the area. “I had the fish and it didn't taste that great. Everyone else liked there meal especially the lasagna. This house salad dressing was the bomb and the apps where great to. Menu said the onion rings where beer batter but the where breaded. We prefer beer batter. Over all I would say it was almost a 5 star. Staff was friendly and attentive.Wheelchair accessibility: The do have handicapped parking and once in the restaurant it all on one floor.“

“We took a day trip to Akron for a festival and stopped into this bar while exploring the town. This bar was huge, clean, and beautiful! Our bartender was so sweet and answered all our questions! You can't beat their happy hour prices as well! I got the house cab and it was phenomenal! If I lived in the area, I would come all the time!“

“If there are any problems with Bartenders or an employee get ahold of Chuck Korver owner. Any concerns you have, safety and or liabilities talk to Chuck and give him a chance to handle it. Any problems with other customers call Chuck about it. He will deal with it. Read reviews where someone was using Laundromat next door. Then went to leave. But Couldnt bc blocked in. Again call Chuck so he can take care of it and the customers violating fire code. Customers that bring there drinks out the bar outside Call Chuck. He will make sure customers are compliant. Chuck doesn't put up with bologna.“

“A great little neighborhood bar. The regulars welcome new comers and the owner of the bar always has a hello for you. Not a pick up bar but it’s not impossible lol. They have an electronic dart board, juke box with a great sound system, karaoke, and musicians. It’s a good place to stop for a beer or drink and of course to get drunk. Lol.“

“I attended many of Ingy's early piano bar sessions. I am older and dropped of many year back now. I have a 96 year old Mother I am taking care of and really cannot easily get away . I was never a singer much as I would like to be. All that being said I thoroughly enjoyed piano bar , many nice people there, Ingy always made me feel welcome , she has a wonderful personality , and can play anything. She has a crisma about her that just makes you feel so at home . I am sorry she has been under the weather , and hope she recovers soon , and can start enjoying life to the fullest !
