“We just live down the street and have been going here for years. Had a bad experiance with over cooked burgers earlier in the summer and quit going. Today we decided to give it another try and we are glad we did. Our burgers were cooked to perfection and huge, very juicy and tasty. The value is the best I've seen anywhere we've been lately. Definately will be back soon. The young man who waited on us was super also, very polite and fast!“

“I organized our company holiday party here. The week prior I was out sick, with walking pneumonia, working remotely. I inadvertently switched the dates and our entire company showed up the night prior to our scheduled date! The FOH manager along with the chef, staff and other management team were able to rearrange their entire evening to make our event happen. I went from extremely panicked to beyond grateful in seconds. The dinner was a success. “Food is good - when they are open. Saturday at 2:30 they were already closed. If business is slow or they are shorthanded, they close. Hours are never reliable. Call first. PS - not trans-gender friendly. I know someone who was told that they can’t use the bathroom there.“

“Absolutely phenomenal! Tip Top in Stow is hands-down one of the best hidden gems in Northeast Ohio. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and buzzing with energy. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.

The restaurant itself is super clean, cozy, and has that classic neighborhood tavern feel with a modern twist. The back of the restaurant and patio offer beautiful and relaxing views of the creek and ravine that runs through Adell Durbin Park. The prices are also incredibly fair for the quality and portion sizes.

Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time, Tip Top treats you like family. This place deserves all the love (and 5 stars)! Highly recommend!“

“Anything I've ever tried off the menu here has been delicious. They have specials for each day and I recommend trying the special of the day. Also they make great drinks ! I recommend the Jamaican Mule, I get it every time, it's delicious. Food wise you can't go wrong. The owner throws down in the kitchen, especially with the seafood and burgers. Talk about good seasoning, everything's seasoned delightfully. My favorites so far are the Shrimp Quesadillas (Tuesday is quesadilla day) , their Summit Lake fries and every Friday is fish Friday with a great deal on yellow tailed perch fried to perfection. This place is tastier than any sit down restaurant in the area trust me. 10/10“

“Went with my In-laws this past Friday. The parking was awkward making it difficult to exit to the front of the building. The food, drinks and service were top notch. However, I thought the 3% up charge for using a credit card vs cash to pay the bill was a bit petty due to the already inflated menu prices. This left me wondering; why the owner thought it was more important to cover their $5 cost at the expense of me returning again?“

“Stopped in on a whim for a burger and fries. OH MAN....am I glad we did - this was by far, one of the best, if not the best burger I have had in a very long time. My husband agreed. There was nothing at all to complain about. The bartender was our server, and he was super as well.“

“If you want something more than the typical hospital cafeteria food, then try Virtues. They are located on the ground floor of Akron Summa hospital. I am at the hospital because a family member is having surgery, and this restaurant was recommended by the desk staff. You walk to the counter and order. They give you a buzzer that signals you when the order is ready. I had the signature BLT and a side Ceasar salad. The salad was good size, lettuce was crisp and fresh. The BLT is served on sourdough bread and had a chitpotle mayo that gave it a good flavor and just a tinge of heat. For expecting "hospital" food, this was a pleasant surprise. It cost me just under $20 for the sandwich, salad, and a fountain drink.“

“The chicken is prepared as Serbian style fried chicken (cooked in lard). The meat is very juicy. The coating is crisp and comes off in big pieces.
The hot rice is excellent 👌 (Thick, not soupy. The rice is dense, not mushy with just the right amount of "kick").
The fries are crispy.“

“I grew up on Whitehouse Chicken. It’s been a staple of my childhood. I don’t live in town anymore but was in town visiting family and wanted to share my love for Whitehouse Chicken with my kids. We stopped in but the restaurant was closed and we could order takeout out. Because we had a group of 6 we were hoping we could dine in. We were so grateful when we asked if we could stay and eat. They let us stay and eat in! The food was the delicious, the staff was absolutely incredible and so sweet for allowing us to sit and eat. It meant the world to me to share in the Whitehouse Chicken experience with my kids and husband. Truly the best dine in experience and truly so thankful for the staff to allow us in tonight! ❤️“
