My girlfriend ordered the Hooky because it was "small" and it was more than she could eat.Waitresses are very friendly and efficient. They help each other more than what I see in other businesses.One thing I enjoyed more than anything was to be able to have a conversation without having to yell. They do not play music so loud you can not hear the person across from you.I will definitely be returning in the future.“

“One thing about Mrs. J's restaurant is they know how to keep employees. A lot of restaurants in town suffer with turnover problems, but somehow Mrs. J's is able to maintain employees for decades. It's always great service. The food is always predictably good. The only complaint that I have is that there aren't more vegan options. There's a few other restaurants in town that could take a few notes off of what Mrs. J's is doing. Fast, friendly service. Every time!“

“I love to stop by when I come through town. This establishment is a town classic rhat serves fantastic pizza: sauce that has the perfect hint of sweetness paired with an amazingly flavorful crust. The texture is perfect and the cheese has a wonderful flavor, it doesn't taste processed like chain pizza. Their jojo potatoes are crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth soft on the inside. Their prices are also fantastic! I recommend pairing their food with a specialty soda from Lehmans (I chose an Almond soda!), and then finishing it up with one of their ice cream cones.“
“This place is a hidden gem. I had never heard of it before. Absolutely amazing! Onion rings were some of the best. We also tried the smoked burger, brisket, ribs, Mac n cheese, beans, and slaw. All were very delicious. Finished the meal off with a slice of Carmel cheesecake. Portions are good sized too. Cannot wait to return.“

“Really good American food! There is a great little cocktail menu full of tasty drinks at reasonable price. The dishes are good and include steaks, chops, chicken, and seafood platter. You must order the French Onion soup as it is really delicious! Great sandwich menu as well with Reuben and seafood Reuben.. Service is great and the servers are exceptional...“
“Went there with our girlscout troop and it was fantastic! The tea pots and other China were beautiful! The colors, gorgeous. A great atmosphere. The staff was nice and the apricot fantasy tea was soooo delicious. We also got a bottle of pink Moscato that was chefs kiss delicious! I'll probably come back on my own, they had out door seating that looked perfect for a date night or book club get together.“
“This place gave a lovely Amish Vibe and had a great variety of foods on the menu. My mother and I both ordered the chicken which was delicious and crunchy skin. Mashed potatoes with gravy were AMAZING and the green beans too. The noodles side tastes just like chicken noodle soup without the soup. The building is very clean and peaceful with a beautiful view of the hills outside. Also the bakery was closed and the cashier was nice enough to ask if they had some coconut cream pies left and went and got us some which was really nice of him.“
“This was our first place we went to for a meal when we got to Amish Country. I got the roast beef, gravy, mashed potatoes, and corn. Delish!! My husband, Mark, got the meatloaf , mashed potatoes, and corn. They served dinner rolls with the meal and I wanted to eat all of them ...delish!! We split a piece of pecan pie. It was good and not as sweet as some I have had. We would definitely recommend the place!!“
“We went to the carryout area in the back of the restaurant and ordered 3 types of soup. The service was fast and we got out in no time. The soups were delicious, especially the broccoli cheese and the vegetable beef. We will definitely be back to hopefully dine in and have the salad bar with our soup next time!“
“I love the food as well as feeling as if your with friends or family, not in a business. It's always a warm and welcoming establishment. I wish there was more local art displayed in the dining room and that it had the feel it used to of being in an Amish barn or social hall. The renovations are nice but took away from the ambiance of the place.“
