“I cannot recommend Song Lan more! I cannot believe this evening was my first time stopping in. I’ve been meaning to check it out for quite some time. However, I organized a meetup for dinner at North Market before a comedy show in Bridge Park and North Market was unexpectedly closed for a private event. A friend and I went separate ways to find a place that could get 10 of us in last minute. The staff was so kind and sat us in a beautiful back room. Our waitress was so kind, the atmosphere was perfect, and the food was out of this world amazing! Cannot wait to go back!“

You can literally watch the food being made, and although it's no Genjis or House Japan - for the price and quality it's definitely worth the few minute wait in order to experience that within a "fast food" environment!! Portion wise, I personally was able to eat half and had the other half to take home for a later time!!“

“We treated our mother to a Mother's Day meal, and it was absolutely delicious. My granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment, as did we all. While their lunchtime pricing had changed to match their dinner pricing, the portions were incredibly generous. I even enjoyed the leftovers the following day.“

The service is below average in that you should expect your server to forget a simple request at least once during the dining experience. Because some people order spicier food, the servers should really pay attention to which dish goes to whom. Definitely room for improvement.

“We were a few minutes before opening and they greeted us with open arms. Very attentive service and the food was excellent. Only odd issue was that they appeared to be deep cleaning the walls and floors in a section of the restaurant. I didn’t think anything about it but my wife was a little creeped out by it.

But as a whole the experience was excellent and they were great.

“I got the miso ramen—it was tasty, but they didn’t let me have a real bowl to eat outside, even though there’s a table in front of the restaurant. Overall, my food was absolutely cold… even though I saw someone else carrying a bowl outside. I’ll be nice and give them 4 stars—for cold ramen.“

“Wow! Some of the best freshest sushi I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over the world so I know fresh sushi when I eat it! Beautiful decor and cozy inside. Great for a date night or dinner with friends as you are right in the heart of the Short North. I dined on a Wednesday night and it was busy! But our server did a fantastic job of checking in with us and updating us on any food or drink delays which is fantastic customer service!! Sushi fans of Akai Hana..You gotta try DOMO.. There is only one server, though he is superb. Food takes a long time to prepare. So overall you would have to wait a bit longer than in other places.

The place is a bit away from the main street so it's not at the most convenient place. The lighting is a bit dark. On the other hand, it's very quiet, unlike some high-end restaurants nearby.

With all of the above, the most important thing is the food: it's too good so we used this place as our cafeteria during our week-long stay in Columbus!!!

And the price is reasonable, unlike some high-end places nearby!“

This could feed a family of four for $40. As far as Asian Cuisine in the area I haven’t found anything quite better. They are always friendly when I arrive and seem like a great team earning an honest living. Will definitely come back when I’m craving that Honey Chicken!“

“This sushi place had a beautiful dining room and great food. Their happy hour menu was changing every weekday. Monday and Tuesday had some sushi deals. Wednesday and Thursday had drinks deals. I tried their Rishi ramen and nigiri pieces. The eel nigiri was impressive with grilled bbq sauce. The squid one was mediocre. The ramen was a little bland without protein. There were spinach and mushroom, and the ramen had a good quality. My servers were great. The price was a little high. WiFi was not available.“

“My gentleman and I are from out of town and found this place. The food was delicious! The hot & sour soup was so flavorful! I did a 'create your own' with chicken, veggies and the teriyaki... yum! My gentleman got the pepper steak and the steak was tender and delicious. The crab rangoons were so delicious also. They have a craft soda in their beverage machine.... o yea! The only negative was that the crab rangoons were a little light on the filling.“
