Wawa is a gas station that offers a much better experience than most. The employees have good attitudes, pay attention to customers, and keep everything stocked. The place is almost always clean, friendly, and welcoming. The rewards program is fantastic, and using the app is convenient for ordering an espresso drink and activating the gas pump. However, the food is never consistent. Some reviews say the food is above average and actually quite good, while others note that subs are very expensive and orders are often wrong—getting shorties (6inch) when paying for classic (10 inch) subs, or forgetting items like cheese. The macaroni and cheese was very mushy and powdery textured for almost $4. Gas is probably the only thing that might be cheaper here. Despite the inconsistencies, the atmosphere is friendly, and the made-to-order carry out only restaurant has something for everyone, including the meatball hoagie with Parmesan. It is a brand new, well-organized, and clean location with plenty of gas pumps.
