“Franks is the typical hole in the wall and those of you that have read my reviews know I love these places. The service is good at Franks and the bartenders are friendly and can carry a conversation. Atmosphere is very eclectic - see my pictures. The food specials are a deal so make sure to check those out. I had the cowboy burger on this visit but have also had the NY strip which is good. The cowboy burger is sautéd onions, cheddar, bacon and candied jalapeños. Handmade burger and very tasty. Only complaint is the burger was thick but not wide enough to cover the bun. Give Franks a try“

“Met a few friends for dinner and drinks last week on the patio. Our server was very busy but was still very attentive. Every time she passed by our table, she made sure to see if we needed anything. Our food came out in a timely manner. We were impressed with the generous portions. I had the steak philly sandwich which was excellent. The manager Billie Rae came over and welcomed us, checked on us to see if we were enjoying our meals and then stopped by the table when we were checking out to thank us and invite us to come back. We will definitely be back.“

“Missing falls is one of our absolute favorote Akron breweries! Good beer selection, (multiple sizes and flight options), great food, and a wonderful staff. We enjoy the vibe of the place, the shelf full of games, and that it’s family friendly. We frequent often while on bike rides. Bonus points for ample indoor bike parking.“

“In Peninsula for the Ramp Up Festival with friends. Decided to stop here for lunch. They have a good selection of craft beers. I ordered a mushroon bacon burger with onion rings. Burger tasted good but was a bit dry. Ordered medium and got well done so it was not juicy how I like them. Onion rings were crispy and good. They had a special ramp flavored IPA on tap, a very unusual beer with a garlicky finish. Our server was excellent today. Patio seating was nice on a sunny day.“

“This place is a MUST GO TO, the drinks and appetizers are delicious BUT the service….the service was phenomenal!!! I went here on a Saturday (4/20) and sat at the bar. I ordered the risotto dip, it was excellent and a special they had. It wasn't crazy busy, but was pretty steady. The bartender was freaking amazing!! She was so friendly, happy and FUNNY! OMG was she funny!! I told her she should be a stand up comedian because she was THAT funny! If you ever get the opportunity to stop in DO IT!! And be sure Melly, that’s her name, is working!! “Hands down, best bar in Akron. There has not been one time where my experience at score has been less than satisfactory. But what makes it better is when Daniel is working, whether it's bouncing or cooking, and he has been so welcoming to me and my friends. I 100% recommend you try it out.“

“food was great....... except for the chicken wings. we came out of state from Buffalo NY for a concert in Akron OH. seen this place so we stopped. the portions are great for the price. I did the half rack of ribs and they were pretty good. my wife got a bacon cheese burger and loved it. said it was juicy and good flavor. the mac n cheese wedges were awesome. now this is where it turned. being from Buffalo I am spoiled and know my wings. I got the Cajun wings from here in a 5 piece to take and snack on back at the hotel. I took one bite and never finished them. the texture of the meat was super dense like they were boiled instead of deep fried and the skin was rubbery and almost like paper thin. the Cajun sauce was good but the wings themselves were just not my cup of tea. they don't come close to REAL Buffalo chicken wings. all in all I still highly recommend this establishment and the rest of the food. also prices, atmosphere, our waitress and the rest of the staff was excellent.“

“Met my boss here for lunch. The server was amazing. She took the time to explain the menu to us since we are not from Akron. I got just the regular Philly and was amazing, my boss was happy with his food Also. I will try to come back next time in Akron.“

“TailGators is a really nice restaurant/ bar.It was not what we expected when walking in.It has a complete restaurant atmosphere, just with TVs showing sports.Kids will love it here, and there are plenty of choices for them and adults on the menu.We will definitely be going back!Kid-friendliness: There were a few families there while we were dining. “I found Lynn’s Bar off of the Facebook karaoke group in Akron. Being from out of town, I come out this way a few times a year and my wife and I enjoy a fun karaoke evening. I came in and felt welcomed instantly! Just like a regular. I had a great time with DJ Bob and all the regulars and a few other first timers. I look forward to coming back when I’m in town in May and in June. The food was very good and beer nice and cold! Service was awesome. Highly recommend checking Lynn’s out.“

“Always have a good time here. It was a hang out of mine a few years back. Was excited to know we where going there. Our pool league had us there. They continued to bring out quality food. Friendly people an staff. Very clean. Just like I remembered. Good job to all involved in this place. Shout out to their pool team. I knew we where gonna have to earn every win. Great cheap foods n fun tucked away off Akron's Main street n North Hill area--Hidden gem starting to bloom. “Should be renamed to Spunkmeyers 'Identity Struggles'. It's a pub that serves your typical American fare that's also a country bar.? If you don't mind the music the food can be pretty good, but with that being said, it's also very much hit 'n miss. Good one day terrible the next.Service is slow. Do not come here in a rush. Expect to be there for at very minimum an hour. Doesn't matter if it's lunch on a Tuesday and your one of three people there or bar rush. Gonna be an hour at least.Lastly, with the newest owners, they seem to be in pursuit of constantly changing their menu items. Doesn't matter if it's been a well established meal there for X amount of time or not. For example you've always been able to order a Steak Philly here and expect a decent sub. Nothing fancy just a Philly and been around ages. Now without warning it comes with a spicy relish on it. Combine that with the sub-par service/cook relationship and your going to eat spicy relish on it weather you want to or not. Now if that's not an issue with you then it's totally worth the visit.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids under 12 eat free on Mondays running deal every week that most people don't seem to know about or take advantage of.“

“Traveled to the area for a weekend and was recommended this place for karaoke. The DJ was very friendly and the patrons just the same also the sound system was very good. It became very busy as the night went on yet still had the space to not feel cramped. The bartender was very professional, also a great singer. While there I did not have any food but they were very busy with food service. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area ??“

“I got the chicken quesadilla and my two friends each got different subs (one was a cheese steak and I can't remember the name of the other one). One had a side of fries, the other onion wings. Everything was awesome and the portions were huge! The quesadilla was so big my husband and I split my leftovers for dinner that night! Bonus - they sell pull tickets and we spent $30 and won $100!!! We'll be back for sure!!“
