“Down home (Scioto County) we really don't have chain ice cream places other than Dairy Queen. This mom and pop shop is in franklin furnace, (GREEN to the locas) they have hot food as well as cold treats. Very nice and clean, service is what you expect from an area where southern hospitality begins.”

Also, GET THE CAKE. They have so many cake options, and they're all a slice of perfection. All their servers are prompt and friendly, and food always comes out fresh and hot. Proud his granddaughter has carried on with his family legacy of running a successfully bar. So If anyone is on 23 in portsmouth ohio and around the area I highly recommend you to stop in and have a nightcap or even a water,soda maybe game of pool to wind down from your day you had.?? it's relaxing,calm,social,fun and laughter atmosphere that I believe Heather will be seeing more of my husband and I when we are not working ?
