“Yesterday I celebrated my daughter's sweet 16 birthday at El Vaquero, and I knew Carlos, our favorite server/bartender, would make it extraordinary - and he exceeded all expectations! Despite having a party of 8, he made my daughter feel like a princess. Her Sprite came in a beautiful glass with special garnishes, and her food arrived first, wrapped in foil to ensure it was piping hot straight from the grill. When it was time for the cake I brought, Carlos coordinated everything perfectly - storing it safely, bringing it out with lit candles, and gathering his whole team to sing happy birthday. He even had cake plates, a knife, and to-go boxes ready to go. The most magical moment came when Carlos presented my daughter with a rose he crafted from foil, telling her to make a wish and place it on the right side of her bed - which she did! (Though I'm hoping she's not wishing for more Uggs 😂). Carlos always makes us feel like we're part of the El Vaquero family, and we'll definitely be back for our next celebration!“

“I have been eating this wonderful food since they had only one location. My daughter introduced us to it because she loved it and found their truck. (That was when they didn’t have a storefront). It never matters which location I eat at, I have never been disappointed. Their al pastor is legendary. Their lingua is tender. Portions are large. Truly the restaurant I eat at now.
