“The BEST veggie burger i have ever had in my entire life. I’m an outsider and am here in Cinci visiting family. I was a little weary coming to a beef joint as I can’t eat red meat due to chemotherapy. (Ironic, I know). The owners went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that they were able to segregate my burger from the red meat and clean the grill to the best of their ability. I did not have a reaction other than “when can I come back!”. The house made ranch and ketchup were so tasty, I’d almost be willing to sneak it on the plane to come home with me. I 10/10 recommend this place.“

“We eat at Blue Ash Chili frequently. I always order something different off the wide menu and have never had a meal that wasn’t delicious! Friendly servers and fast service. “My family and I was there today to celebrate my mothers birthday, we ABSOLUTELY loved the food them ribs are to die for, however the memorable part was our server Tonya, I think I’m saying her name right, she was AMAZING I mean she engaged with my mom and son like if she was apart of the Family and THAT took us right away, the only downside was by the time we had received our drinks she was no longer our server which REALLY upset my mother, However the new server was nice she just wasn’t her,,, we LOVE the spot and enjoyed the whole atmosphere and my mother and Family DEFINITELY will be back we just hope that we run into that server Tonya again!!! We were a little disappointed in the serving size of the fries, Double cheese burger, and Fried bologna sandwich. Taste wise it was great. Service was fast and friendly. “Great food, the burgers were all phenomenal! The atmosphere was very laid back, and not fast paced at all, we did not feel rushed to eat and leave. Service was goos but the waiter may have been too laid back, but was a really nice guy all together and did his job by getting our meals right.

Defintely recommend for the burgers. There's a parking garage attached to the strip this is in which was a nice surprise because street parking is very limited.“

“Gordo's is the kind of timeless place that makes visitors feel comfortable without making a big deal about it. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and very good at their jobs; they seem to genuinely enjoy working there, and it shows.

The food is absolutely delicious and served in daunting portions. The burgers are the jaw-unhinging size (and shape) of baseballs, cooked beautifully and doctored up in amazing ways. Six out of seven of us chose different styles, and none of us were disappointed; I had Boursin and poblano, and I still regret that I couldn't finish that last bite. The lone holdout, my mother, ordered a chef's salad and raved about it, saying that it was the first she'd ever had that she honestly couldn't finish. My dad and I will testify that she did her best.

The only dessert listed at Gordo's is the Dessert of the Day. I asked our waitress whether it actually existed, or if they (rightly) assumed that no one would ever have room to order it. She said that they did (it was tiramisu that day), but most people who could still think about food ordered it to go. My teenager made a reflexive plea, but they were too full to put in real effort.

If we didn't live two states away, Gordo's would already be our family's regular place, and my fridge would already be stocked with the Dessert of the Day. As it is, we'll definitely be back whenever we visit Cincinnati.“

“I love going to Indian Mound Cafe. It is my primary destination for cheeseburgers, and I am NEVER disappointed. The onion rings are outstanding as well, which usually is not the case at most restaurants. There are no soggy or greasey onion rings at the Mound. The are crisp and delicious.

The owner, Sheila, is a truly lovely person who makes you feel like your business is important, but not as important to her as you are as a person. Whenever I stop in, Sheila greats me with a smile. On more than one occasion, when I have been having a bad day or two and stoped in to eat, Sheila always asks how I am. And not in a superficial or condescending way, but like someone who really does give a hoot.

As an older adult who spends a consiserable amount of time alone, it is heartwarming to think that someone is glad to see me. It is even more touching that someone is honestly concerned about my well being. But that seems to be the case with many of the customers who come to the Indian Mound Cafe. It really is one of those places where the owner and staff know the majority of clientele and treat them as more than just a source of income, but like friends.

As if those atributes aren't enough, there aren't a lot of places at this point where you can have a sit-down meal cooked to order w a soft drink and tip for under $20. I tend to make it in at least several times a month, and I typically bring folks with me. One of my regular dining companions raves about the vegetable soup which, like all the soups, is homemade. I, personally, keep trying to stop in early enough on a Thursday to try the sliders special, but no luck so far--they are always sold out.

One more thing, there is an excellent Central American bakery a couple of doors down from the Mound on the same side of the street. It is well worth stopping in and grabbing some delicious (and extremely budget friendly) baked goods to take home or enjoy as desert after eating at the Mound. The pastries are not super sweet, which I like. But of course, that just means I want more! And at the prices they charge, I can walk out with a good sized bag for between $10 and $12. It is one of those hidden gems that I really enjoy turning people on to. Bon Appetit.“

“Last time we came here we had a gift card for Oakley kitchen, and the man working at the time (April 16th 2024 actually) did sketches and drawings and was super nice, (also the burgers are phenomenal) he figured out how to use the gift card perfectly fine and even rung us up a second time for another order. We came again today and they suddenly can’t take the gift card, it’s a 100 dollar gift card and there’s only four places even open here with fat Al’s being one of the two places we’re interested in. Really dissapointing as it was used perfectly fine the last time TWICE and we drove half an hour to get here specifically for their burgers. The manager was on the phone and said they were one of the last people to switch to using a card (or something like that??) but again it worked last time we came so that doesn’t make any sense :/ our visit today was on 4/30/24.“

“We had heard about this restaurant from a friend so we decided to try it for lunch. It's right on Wyoming Avenue at the border of Wyoming and Lockland. The lunch and dinner menus are the same but they have a variety of daily specials. We kept it simple for lunch: a hamburger with fries and a veggie burger with Saratoga chips. The burger was big and tasty but the veggie patty didn't have much taste and the texture was too soft. It's not something I would order again. A soft drink and a beer (the place is also a brew pub) ran up a bill of $40. It's primarily an Italian place but there are several non-Italian choices from Fish & Chips to Rueben sandwiches. It has a nice, cozy ambiance and service was prompt and courteous. It could easily become my local hangout except it's just a little too far from my home. That being said I do plan to revisit and try some of their Italian fare. Free parking on the street or in their lot. Full bar.“

“On 2-7-25 I ordered at drive thru. I waited for them to bring out my order. 4 cars behind me got their order.I went inside to find out where my order was. Asst Mgr Barb, without missing a beat continued filling orders, asked if they had my order.When she got no answer, she asked one of the cooks to make my sandwich.She asked another co-worker if she had coupons. Once my order was ready, she sincerely apologized for the and gave me my food and the coupon. I told her I was impressed with how she made things happen and took care of the situation. She was very professional and was doing an awesome job managing the business.“

“Are they best burgers in town? No, but they are far from the worst. Nice variety of burgers and sandwiches so you can visit multiple times and find something new to try each visit.
Bottomless fries are a nice touch, but I've rarely had the room for a second helping as the burgers/sandwiches ARE fairly generously sized, and the fries themselves are just OK. Personal thing with me most likely. I prefer smaller, thinner fries and not the large wedges.
Service is hit or miss. We have never had a BAD server, but we have had less than great while also having some that were spectacular.
Restaurant can be noisy, depending on when you visit, so don't expect quiet conversations.“
