“Note: I'm Not a food critic nor a 'foodie'; if you want such a review, move to NYC. However, I grew up in Nerk & was in town for the holidays & decided to give Alley Cat a try... My wife ordered a 12" Veggie pizza & I got their Full-sized Philly Steak sub & a Full order of their Cheesy Garlic Bread. ALL were EXCELLENT !! One of the Rare exceptions where website/app pics posted by a restaurant Actually matches what you receive as your order. All the ingredients were fresh & the pizza had enough cheese on it to go well with all the veggies that they lavishly heaped on the pie. The crust was a happy medium between not-too-thin & a hand-tossed; it passed for thin in my wife's discerning eyes. Order was ready for pickup at the specified time; owner & chef were very friendly & even called to verify one of my special requests, which most restaurants would've blown off & just made it the way they wanted to. They are the most recent owners, who rely on the Slice app to receive orders, since the original website was not transferred to them in the transfer of ownership.“

“R.I.P. B-dubs! I will never go back there again for wings now that I’ve found Don & Sue’s… hands down the best place for wings in the Newark-Heath-Granville area. Only wish I had found this place earlier. It’s so cool. Very well decked out with a hometown sports vibe. And the food is on point. Great garlic cheese bread, great onion rings, great pizza and now great wings. They have an “extra saucy” option, but there’s no need. My wings were drenched in Carolina Gold (my fav). And to top it all off, Harley was the greatest, nicest, sweetest server I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in ages. Whoever is running this place is hitting on all cylinders. Absolutely my favorite Newark restaurant by far.“

“I think this place is a hidden gem. The bread for the subs were fresh and tasty. The all meat pizza I got was one of the best meat pizzas I have had. The meat pizza had plenty of toppings but was not greasy at all. The sausage was big tasty chunks, the ham was not over powering, and the bacon was a perfect accent. I will definitely be getting that pizza again.
Every time I am there, there is minimal wait and the servers are friendly and helpful. The dining room is clean and spacious.
Keep in mind, the parking lot can be hard to access, it enters off the alleyway behind the restaurant.“

“I was born in Queens NY, and then moved to PA outside of Philly when I was around 9. The pizza from that was is just out of this world, and when I moved to Ohio I was so sad because honestly every place I’ve tried pizza I’ve been disappointed. I will note that I am also Italian so I’m a stickler about pizza 😂 On a whim yesterday My husband, kids and myself decided to give Christy’s a try. It was such a cozy atmosphere for starters. Every single thing we ordered was fresh hot and sooooooo tasty. There was a little bit of a mix up with my husbands calzone, but they made him a new one very fast and took care of us! He said it was absolutely delicious and he is a very picky man. The pizza was THE BEST PIZZA I have ever had in my 5 years of living in Ohio now. I honestly will never eat pizza from anywhere ever again, also very affordable prices! “We kind of discovered Elliot's through pure serendipity. We were in the downtown Newark area looking for a new place to eat and my wife was not having much luck finding anything on her phone. I just randomly pulled into a vacant parking slot so that I could take a shot and when I looked up Elliot's was right in front of us. We decided it was fate and walked in. We were met with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and prompt service. Although they specialize in pizza, we are not the types that order pizza when we go out, so I opted for the street tacos (two fish and two shrimp) while my wife ordered the Philly sandwich. The beer selection was amazing and we walked out feeling like we had lucked into a gem of a dining experience. Since then, we have been to the locations in Pataskala and New Albany on several occasions and so far we have not been disappointed. Lately, I have been going with the Steakhouse Salad which is totally delicious. Price is commiserate with the overall dining experience. If you haven't tried Elliot's yet I strongly encourage you to do so.“

“I live in Mount Vernon Ohio and I drive all the way to North just to get their Pizza. Their Pizza is completely covered in pepperoni and cooked to a crispy perfection. We finally got a Pizza Cottage in Mount Vernon where I am from in the service is horrible as you can see on the reviews I live 10 minutes from Mount Vernon Pizza Cottage I ordered a pizza they told me it would be ready in 20 minutes this is when they very first opened at 11:00 in the morning. I got there within 10 minutes was very surprised that my pizza was ready. When they handed me the Box through the window I found it odd that it was cold. When I got home the pizza was cold as though it had been refrigerated overnight and they didn't even take the time to reheat it it just gave it to me as a cold leftover from last night I'm not joking it was literally refrigerated cold the pizza crust was super rubbery from being stored in the refrigerator. The customer service there is appalling. I will continue to drive to Newark from Mount Vernon to get the greatest Pizza in the world from that Pizza Cottage. Even by the time I get home from there my pizza was hotter than it was from Mount Vernon where I lived 10 minutes away nor have I ever been given cold leftover night pizza from Pizza Cottage of Newark. I would recommend them a thousand times over great customer service very clean restaurant great food always. Mount Vernon is the worst I would never recommend it to anybody not with their childish behavior on the inside nor their cold leftover pizza they didn't even bother to heat up before giving it to me when they first opened. Hopefully it closes down before it gets Pizza Cottage a bad name“

He was easy, quick and concise with all the communication leading up to the event.
