“What an amazing place to hold birthday party and a night out! Over the weekend we hosted my husband’s birthday party at Ripples event space. They were amazing from the service to the food and they were very accommodating to all of our requests! Trish and Matt did an amazing job with service and then everyone kept going on about the food! “I came to Athletico for physical therapy after my wife had been here to recover from a broken kneecap. The care she was given here was tremendous well also being painful. Brandon was very aware of her fears and her tolerance. He worked wonders with her. A very happy place. A lot of smiles and laughter to be shared in a place of work is unusual these days. So when I had my issue with my shoulder, there was no other place. I would want to come.“

This is my favorite neighborhood. Hang out. Parking on the street or across the street in the Paige lot, or behind building on free parking deck.“

So we decided to stop by for a couple of drinks on a Monday evening, we were amazed to find the bar was packed with regulars hanging out at the bar and the place had a very welcoming vibe! Mikey the bartender was friendly and fun to talk to and made great recommendations! Everyday of the week they have some specials, Monday night it was Modelo & Margaritas at $4, the sliders were great and so were the fries! There were a couple of owners with their dogs and apparently the dogs love visiting the bar for bacon(pet owners make a note). Absolutely fell in love with this tavern, it’s the perfect blend of fun, casual, cozy and has a great vibe!“

Wiseguys was one of the first places I visited after moving here from out of state, and Harrison was one of the first friendly faces I met. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and making amazing drinks, he also offered great local tips and made me feel genuinely welcomed both at the bar and in Cincinnati. He really went (and goes) above and beyond! “This is a great neighborhood bar everybody makes you feel welcome. The food is good comfort type food proportions are good prices are reasonable. The coolest thing about this location is the music they bring in some great musicians. It's a small venue which sometimes makes it hard to watch the musicians but you can hear fine from anywhere in the bar. We visit the location frequently.“

“Inviting atmosphere with great coffee and even better service.

I Stumbled upon this cafe on google and learned that it is one of the few coffee shops that are open late into the evening. As soon as i walked in, i noticed that the pillows in top of the seating rows and the great cozy atmosphere that allows people to work while minding their business which is the perfect mix for a coffee spot!

They have a downstairs too and both floors have a patio area which I will try once the weather gets warmer. The downstairs is a more quiet environment but the main floor is filled with vibes and background conversations so it offers both ambiances that a cafe often calls for.

The selection of wine has depth which makes it a good spot to hangout even after the coffee hours are gone.

As a latino, i loved seeing the empanadas on their menu which is a great snack or meal and goes well with coffee.

I ordered the usual, dark toast drip coffee, yet again and the flavor was a bit on the robust side with a hint of bitterness but delicious nonetheless. I had more than three refills of it and was more awake than a meth head at 3 pm in the afternoon!

The barista was so sweet and was more than happy to take care of my refills every time i stepped up to the bar!

“Crows Nest is a west side staple. I last minute showed up with 25 people for a birthday - they had wonderful food and great staff that accommodated a crowd in a professional manner and were extremely kind. Highly recommend this place for their food and atmosphere!“

“I am only going to rate this 4 out of 5 stars because it entirely depends on the type of bar that you're looking for. If you are looking for a bar that is made up of people at the ages of 40 plus then this is your bar, pairing with the fact that it is kind of a dive makes it a great choice to get a cheap drink. There is some good atmosphere in banter among the people that visit this establishment.I will say The only reason I am rating it 4 out of 5 stars is because I have been given grief for being 30 years old and visiting this bar, like come on people.“

“This is kind of a dive bourbon bar but definitely worth stopping in. Taylor the bartender was absolutely fantastic. They climbed a ladder to get a bottle that we wanted a pour of. We got a flight and the store pick of Russell’s was out of this world but unfortunately not for sale. The restroom was clean. Our only complaint was the bar and the menus were really sticky. Like so sticky that we washed our hands in the fountain outside when we left. However, definitely worth a visit if you’re a bourbon drinker because they have over 500 bottles.“
