“hands down the best matcha I've had!! you know it's going to be good when you ask to add the ginger black tea persimmon syrup to a matcha latte and are told that it might overpower the matcha itself - this shows dedication and craft to the drinks themselves, which are phenomonal. being in east market it was a bit loud, but I'm eager to try their other location :)“

“I love the Chocolate Cafe. I have come here many times, most recently to surprise a friend for her birthday. I ordered a full size Lemon and Berry Marscarpone cake. She loved it!! I loved! “Their new menu adds even more variety than they have had in the past. They offered Cajun seasoned popcorn as soon as we were seated and then brought a sample of a new drink that they were testing. We ordered an omelet, a bowl of chicken noodle soup, and two chocolate cookies (with whipped cream) for dessert. The omelet came with potatoes. All were outstanding.“

“The energy teas are to die for, and the protein bites...OMG!!! I come almost every day to get a drink after my workouts to replenish which comes with other healthy add ins (I'm anlways craving a drink the next day). The customer service is always above and beyond. I feel revived and satisfied after every visit and always leave with a smile on my face! This place is truly a hidden gem; ever since I started going here, more and more teens from my high school go! A lot of OSU athletes are starting to come in as well!“

“We love Emmett's. The food, drinks, and atmosphere have all always been fantastic. I'm particularly partial to the breakfast burrito and green juice. Emmett's works well for either work-coffee-chats or as a fun, casual breakfast/brunch place to take out-of-town guests. When it's not busy, kids love exploring the building & grounds. If I could offer one suggestion: I do wish they had a bit more in the way of vegan options so I could bring my mom.“

“I walked over from a nearby event just to check this place out. The food and drink options both sounded great from the menu posted on the door so I went in. I had the iced cookie butter latte and half Berry Ricotta toast. Both were delicious! The servers were all warm and welcoming, bringing my order to where I sat in front of a window facing the street. Curious as to why the food is so randomly delicious at a museum cafe, I had asked one of the employees about this and they explained that the museum hosts banquetesque events as well as weddings thus the kitchen in-house is the very same that provides catering. “Brian catered my daughter’s bridal shower and he was outstanding to work with!! We had a last minute venue change and he stepped up to help even more. He responded quickly to messages and delivered exactly what we were hoping for. He arrived on time for the shower and had everything ready. He is know for his bread and his rolls and cinnamon rolls were incredible and I don’t know what he did to create an egg casserole for our brunch but it was the talk of the day!!! I recommend Brian’s catering for every event!! He went above and beyond to help me and all of the food was top notch!“

The volunteers are amazing also!

They even have helped me with Dog food; for my fur babies & I even had to take one of them to the vet.

“I understand that running a business is extremely difficult nowadays so I decided to give a good review even though I had a bad experience today when I first time visiting the place. It’s a great location on campus and provides lots of convenience to staffs and students. However, the cashier who worked today during the lunch time is just not very friendly and being very bias. I thought it’s a regular Starbucks store and could use my app to pay but it’s not, when she told me that I couldn’t use my app, I immediately switch to my apply pay. The system was slow to get the transaction done and I can tell she lost her patience and assumed I didn’t know how to use Apple Pay. I feel sorry to hold the line so I even apologize for it when she showed me the bad attitude. Unfortunately I didn’t like the drink I was served so I went back with the full cup and ask if I could get a new one (I normally don’t do that but I just don’t like the taste and really need a cup of coffee to help me get through). She showed me an embarrassed face and looked at me like I tried to take advantage of it. She said “okay but you have to pay for it”. I am shocked and that’s my first time experiencing at this store. I do appreciate other two staffs who worked there. They are very understanding to help me out and they worked so hard.“

“Good convenient coffee. The branding doesn’t make sense though. It is called the caffeine element but caffeine is not an element it is a compound. They even double down on this branding by displaying the chemical formula for caffeine on the door, which is clearly composed of multiple elements. Normally fine ok I get it but this place is attached to a library on a college campus. The pun is too much of a stretch to pull off.“

“Missy was the only one working in the Cafe and my order was still done in a timely manner and correct. The line was long but she got through it fast and was stil talking to everyone in line. She was very friendly even though she was really busy! She deserves a raise!“
