“My favorite place to decompress after work. I will take my book, have the greatest hot chocolate or matcha ever and be at peace. Staff is very kind and gentle, going on the contrary of a lot of places that have people that intimidate you while you are ordering for reasons like bad humor or just bad training. Here staff you look you in the eye, explain things if you are not very familiar and just be kind. I love the place. Several tables and sofas to seat and just enjoy, to work or study. Not to mention parking is pretty good! This is my to go place when I need time for myself.“

“I love to stop in and get a drink from Little Cat anytime I am in the area. The have some of the most interesting drink options and seasonal specials you can find in town. When they get it right they really get it right and I have had some of the most tasty beverages here. The one issue with them is the consistency varies. I have had experiences where I ordered a drink a second time and it was not as well prepared, whether not mixed well or times where there has been big chunks/sediment in the bottom. It's frustrating because the good drinks I've had have been some of the best. When the drinks are charging a premium it is really unfortunate when it doesn't hit the mark 100% of the time. However I definitely recommend grabbing a coffee or tea here, it is a highlight of the east market.“

“I love the Chocolate Cafe. I have come here many times, most recently to surprise a friend for her birthday. I ordered a full size Lemon and Berry Marscarpone cake. She loved it!! I loved! “Their new menu adds even more variety than they have had in the past. They offered Cajun seasoned popcorn as soon as we were seated and then brought a sample of a new drink that they were testing. We ordered an omelet, a bowl of chicken noodle soup, and two chocolate cookies (with whipped cream) for dessert. The omelet came with potatoes. All were outstanding.“

“I started working in the area about 6 months ago and I love mom and pop diners for lunch. Since I have visited Scotty's Cafe I have been eating lunch here every day (literally 5 days a week), you can't beat the atmosphere the food is amazing and the owners are definitely one of a kind. Gina and Scotty make you feel like one of the family,the staff is amazing,and you always look forward to your next visit. Definitely a 10 out of 10 every visit.“

Emmett's works well for either work-coffee-chats or as a fun, casual breakfast/brunch place to take out-of-town guests. When it's not busy, kids love exploring the building & grounds. If I could offer one suggestion: I do wish they had a bit more in the way of vegan options so I could bring my mom.“

“I walked over from a nearby event just to check this place out. The food and drink options both sounded great from the menu posted on the door so I went in. I had the iced cookie butter latte and half Berry Ricotta toast. Both were delicious! The servers were all warm and welcoming, bringing my order to where I sat in front of a window facing the street. “I tried two dishes from this restaurant. One was beef steak on pasta and the other was Muufo, a kind of corn bread served with beef or chicken steak and a spinach spread. I think this is the only restaurant in the city that serves Muufo. It was delicious and the beef steak was even better! I've eaten at over 20 Somalian restaurants in Columbus and this was probably my favorite. Really nice people working there, too, who gave me mango juice for free.“

“Brian catered my daughter’s bridal shower and he was outstanding to work with!! We had a last minute venue change and he stepped up to help even more. He responded quickly to messages and delivered exactly what we were hoping for. He arrived on time for the shower and had everything ready. He is know for his bread and his rolls and cinnamon rolls were incredible and I don’t know what he did to create an egg casserole for our brunch but it was the talk of the day!!! I recommend Brian’s catering for every event!! He went above and beyond to help me and all of the food was top notch!“

“I had the Tidier-Tom sandwich, which was like a sloppy joe, and it had a yummy slaw mix and pickle slices on top. The mixed fruit was delicious, as was the Butterscotch Oatmeal cookie (which was HUGE, and I got too full, so I save the rest for later). So glad I tried this place!“
