Billy Lee’s has become our family’s Friday tradition! Every week we come together here for good food, laughs, and quality time. The drinks are always on point – especially the lemon drops and mango cocktails, they’re our favorites! The atmosphere is welcoming and makes it the perfect spot for a family get-together. Highly recommend!“

“Their food is delicious!!! There are so many vegetables in their food. It is much less oily than other places. Because I don't order ahead, I wait at a table. I watch people come, get their order, and go for the entire time I wait. My favorite is chicken with vegetables ordered a spicy. The veggies included broccoli, snowpeas,carrots, baby corn, bamboo shoots, and fresh mushrooms. The broccoli was very crunchy, not overcooked.

This time, the takeout was in a styrofoam container that leaked in the bag, causing precious sauce to be lost. Previous orders were served in plastic containers with tight lids that didn't leak. I'm hoping this was an anomaly, not the new normal.

“Food is great. Replaced as needed. They don't always wait for it to be cold hard or empty trays before they switch like other buffets. Unlike other buffets, Asian Star's food that's supposed to be crispy is actually crispy and not soggy breading floating in sauce. I've been coming here for 25 years or more. I've been to several other buffets. No other local buffet compares.“

“BEST CHINESE IN COLUMBUS!! Hands down!! The orange chicken, lo mein & moo goo gai pan are soo good & everything is always hot & fresh. They also have reasonable prices & fast delivery. I've never gotten anything from here that I didn't love!! Try it, you won't be disappointed!! They are a small takeout restaurant in Southeast Columbus that doesn't look like much, but the looks are deceiving. I won't get Chinese food from anywhere else in Columbus & that's a fact!“

“Want to give them zero stars so they are not as busy. But I have to give them credit they have really good food all across the board. Love the chicken skewers (satay). Bourbon, tso, sesame, Rangoon, triple delight. All but an occasional fatty batch of boneless spare ribs. So stay away to keep my wait shorter. You will enjoy this place. 20-30 per person because I create a buffet at home it so good.“

“Absolutely love this place. They have a new york chinese restaurant kinda vibe. Foods super affordable and delicious. heavily recommend the pineapple chicken. Not really the kind of restaurant youd wanna dine in because its quite small. Only a few booths. But it is possible if you so desire.“

I ordered the Chicken and Broccoli with Fried rice.
Food was so flavorful, hot and fresh, don't want to leave out how large the portions were.
This was a gem of a place.

“Order Take out here quite often. Haven’t tried everything on the menu but the Honey Chicken is fantastic. My go too is the Honey Chicken, Chongqing Noodles, and Crab Rangoon. This could feed a family of four for $40. As far as Asian Cuisine in the area I haven’t found anything quite better. They are always friendly when I arrive and seem like a great team earning an honest living. Will definitely come back when I’m craving that Honey Chicken!“

“Not a dine in place. They have a huge menu and I have never had a bad food experience on anything that I have ever ordered there. Also you get super big portions.

“I order from Wangs regularly on DoorDash, and I have never had a complaint. One time I received the wrong order, but only because the dasher gave me the wrong one. Even though the options were wrong. It was still good.

Recently I stopped by in person to pick up an online order. The staff was very friendly, and even though I was early for the pickup time, the manager apologized multiple times that they were not making the food fast enough. When I asked to buy an extra crab Rangoon, he tossed it in for free for the wait (again, they were not actually running behind!).

Overall, the staff is very friendly, the portions are good, and the food is always tasty. I am happy to call them my favorite Chinese carry out!“

“Update 3/1/2024: Still soo good. It seems that they've improved their ability to handle more customers since this past holiday season.

Previous: Not the best wait times during holidays, but we're not getting food from anywhere else on special occasions. We'll hopefully be able to for years to come :)

“This has to be the best chinese food this side of town. It had been years since I wanted to try a new place in fear of disappointment.
Even my picky husband loves it. Generous portions. Great prices. Amazing taste. I'm hooked for life as long as nothing changes.“

Prices have increased in the last couple years, enough to where it's caused me to not go as frequent but I still recommend them for the good an fast food you get.“
