Our waitress was kind, friendly and helpful..my suggestion for anyone looking to try some Cajun, you must go but make sure to make reservations ahead of time. “My wife and I spent our 37 wedding anniversary in the Cincinnati area. We wanted to find a nice place, but different than the usual for our anniversary dinner. My wife found Meritage Restaurant online and said it sounded like what we wanted. She called to make a reservation and from the conversation on the phone we were excited to eat here! After arriving to the area, which was a hidden gem in itself, we were greeted by a very friendly hostess! We ask to sit upstairs to enjoy the live music and those guys did not disappoint with their blues/jazz music! Our waitress, she is why there should be no tax on tips! She knew her stuff and was AWESOME! The food, from the stuffed mushrooms, to our dinner, to dessert did not disappoint! EVERYTHING was perfect and it made our anniversary a very special evening! I would drive the two hours from our house to eat here again! GREAT PLACE!!!!!“

“Saturday is marketed as R&Brunch (nice play on words). A DJ is there playing R&B music. The DJ doesn’t talk or hype the audience, she just provides R&B not piped in from a prerecorded “mixtape” CD. The music creates a groove/atmosphere that I enjoy. It’s a grown folk feel. Though it would appeal to a nice range—college students and your parents would also enjoy. I was happy with my meal. It was really good! I enjoyed my dining experience. To be clear, I am one who can be NOT satisfied with ALL the little things and chock it up to an awful experience to which I would not return. I believe the cuisine is very well done. It’s not just mass-produced soul food or comfort food that no longer has the passion and love from the chef’s vision. I’ve experienced similar restaurants in other bigger cities and this is something Cincinnati just does NOT have enough of. I am excited the chef is investing in the restaurant and I cheer her and its success.“

“Have been going here few times every year - food was always pretty good and the price was not over the top... I like they combined the Thai and Indian restaurants together and you can now mix both cuisines from the same table (seating was just 4-5 small tables at Ravis before). And glad the food is equally good no matter which cuisine. You can sit anywhere you want but recommend the Thai side to the right which seems to be more upscale although it's the same waiting staff who btw were pretty quick (after they combined, went once for a weekday lunch and recently for a weekday dinner).
Noting that there are a LOT more tables between the two places now (30?)- so I can see how they could get overloaded during peak times unless they have more than 2 waiters? And they are good folks - don't expect it to be like a corporate run place.“

Tiana provided excellent customer service with a smile & we will definitely be visiting this location again if we ever come back this way!“

“Out of towner trying chinese food in the area. Really good charsiu (boneless spare ribs) it's moist & taste fresh. Only thing that could make it better is if it was cut a bit thicker. Fried rice also is on point. This takes me back how I used to remember chinese food 20 years ago. Eggroll is standard. The small hot oil is too much, perhaps like a smaller container for sauces will be sufficient. Over all will be back.“
