“Fantastic option for seafood! We started with the ceviche which is served with toasted flatbread, I am used to torilla chips or banana chips but the flatbread totally worked. We also had the halibut taco app which was amazing! Great flavors and the fish was cooked perfectly. We did the bread service which came with a champaign cream cheese butter, I have never had anything like this combo before. Come to find out that it is so good and popular, they will sell you a take home container if requested. For the main course, I had the linguine and clams amd it did not dissapoint. Grear flavor, a generous amount of little neck clams all were steamed perfectly, no lost clams on the plate. I asked our waiter about sourcing the seafood, he did say that most items are flown in fresh but there are some that are frozen but the culinary staff seem to truly maintain good quality control as none of the seafood we tried felt off. All was cooked well, and seemed fresh, if we ordered something frozen, we could not tell. Speaking of the wait staff, very kind amd knowledgeable. He knew the menu very well and gave us a great history about the owner and restaurant. He was very attentive and offered suggestions for our first time here. Overall this was a great gem found no where near an ocean with good quality seafood options. The bar offerings were plentiful and very good. Pricing was in line with the quality of the meal and experience. The atmosphere was good, not overly noisy but just enough to know this restaurant appeals to a good audience. Parking can be a bit tough as this is a busy area with restaurants and shopping, we used the Vallet to make life a little easier. If your looking for a great seafood option, I would highly recommend giving Club Oceano a try, you wont be dissapointed.“

“Truly impressive food and somehow they're never busy. Great selection of wonderful seafood, huge bowls of pho, and more. We love their sizzling steak, crab fried rice, and really all of the fried rice. It's hard to do the seafood boil without a bigger group or it being all you want, because there's a 1 lb. minimum, but it's probably awesome. I wish the menu had more options like steamed dumplings and lo mein, but it's hard to complain when it's THIS good and you get impossible-to-find seafood options. Gourmet delicious in a simple environment for good prices. This place is AWESOME.“

But in a world where you must always check your bag at the drive-thru to make sure your order is correct, they got my almost $50, mixed Long John Silvers and KFC order exactly correct! Pleasant surprise! The drive-thru workers were extremely polite and personable. Unfortunately, when I got everything home, I discovered the diet Pepsi had run low on syrup, and tasted like carbon water, yuck! But the food was great, every bit of it! So aside from that and the lack of an outer sign, yes, I will be returning to this restaurant! I'm just now seeing the orange swirl float and Reeces Polar Swirl on the menu, I didn't see that at the drive-thru, or I'd have tried that too! I can't wait to try those next time!“

“The food was delicious and everything was perfectly cooked. The snow crab clusters were huge. Tried the special house sauce as im an original cajun mild girl, and it was bomb. Love how it all stuck to the food. My waitress (Alisha R) was great. She took time to explain the difference in sauces and constantly checked on me to make sure I was ok. She made my experience amazing, and she deserves a raise! Hands down the best seafood I've had.“

“Me and my weekly lunch bunch of 6 ladies have this place in our regular rotation. The clam chowder is perfection with tender, not chewy, clams. Paired it with Boom Boom shrimp for the tastiest lunch. Just sorry it took me so long to try this place.“

“I just discovered this place. I WAS one of the unhoused living nearby. I appreciate their handwritten signs saying people are important and lived!!! Certain workers are very compassionate!!!

“Ordered 4 wings, fries, coleslaw and bread with a piece of cod and onion rings. Wings and cod were excellent flavor. Onion rings were great. Fries were a standard frozen French fries from a bag. Slaw was good. Question- why stick a piece of standard sandwich bread in with the dinners instead of maybe a dinner roll. Tossed the bread !! Have ordered twice so far.“

“This is my 90 year old mother in laws favorite, so we thought we’d give it a try! Friendly service and a great meal at The Chop House in Dayton. We started off with an appetizer of spinach queso, it was full of flavor and the chips were light with just the right amount of salt. The grouper special was incredible and paired well with the rice pilaf and broccoli. The crab cakes were perfectly cooked, (she asked them not to cook hard...remember she's 90) and they made it just right, and the baked potato was spot on. My turkey and dressing was good, though the turkey was sliced a bit thick for me but my husband loved it, the dressing was flavorful and not too salty which is a huge plus for me. The homemade Heath Bar and vanilla ice cream were outstanding. It was rich and creaming and tasted soooo good!“

My wife and I enjoyed the Deviled Eggs as an appetizer. She had the veggie burger with green beans, and I had the 12oz Prime Rib with Mashed Potatoes.

Taco shell was straight out of a box ground beef had no flavor, the chunks of steak in the burrito had no flavor, hard to chew and the shrimp still had shells on the tail inside the burrito. Huge let down. Do not recommend. Make the drive and go to Mi Pubalos in Mt Clemens.“

“I ordered delivery and it came fresh and very hot!!! The food was delicious and the portions are much better than other BBQ places in Dayton. I do feel like the cost of the sides is too expensive, but the meat value for cost is perfect. I got brisket, Mac n cheese, and green beans. My boyfriend got ribs and wedges. My only complaint is the Mac was not very good. It tasted like green bean water. Other than that, delicious!!!“

“I’m automatically irritated when I have to wait an extended period of time for food whether it’s mine or I’m delivering orders. I say that because I know why there’s usually a wait here and that reason is the food is without question great. However- if you have frequent long wait times and staffing is an issue, fix it. Get help that can keep those orders from going somewhere else.“
