“Went here last night for the first time, had never even heard of it before. But we were driving down the highway and it stood out to us! Got sat immediately around 7:30 on a Sunday. Our waitress Angel was very knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant and informed us on the menu as well! Service was excellent. We started with the crab spinach dip and it was phenomenal! Then for my entree I got the bacon wrapped jalapeño shrimp over dirty rice and it was exceptional! My fiancé got the seafood pasta (dont remember the exact name) and he says it was great as well. My strawberry margarita was tall and delicious. We had a wonderful experience and will be making our way back!“

“I was searching on Google for a new place to eat and happened to come across this hidden gem. After looking through the menu and photos of the food, I decided to give it a try—and it did not disappoint. The meal (didn’t know the name, just order it since the picture looks good) I got was delicious, and I’ll definitely be back!“

“Great experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent — everyone was very welcoming, professional, and polite. As a first-time customer in the Cincinnati area, I was greeted warmly and treated with great hospitality.
The food came out hot, the seasoning and spice were on point, and the drinks were amazing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.
I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, especially my fellow Caribbean truckers. If you're in the Cincinnati area and having a hard time finding good Caribbean food while you're on the road, this is definitely a place you should check out!“

“The quality of the seafood was surprisingly good, especially considering we're in the middle of Ohio. Everything tasted fresh, and the seafood itself seemed to be high quality.
The service was incredibly fast, which is impressive for a seafood boil restaurant. However, I can't help but wonder if that speed comes at the expense of flavor. The seasoning was good, but it didn't seem like the seafood had much time to marinate, so it wasn't as rich or infused as I've had at other seafood boil spots.
My biggest criticism is the value. For the price, I expected a little more flavor and overall experience. It wasn't a bad meal by any means, and I'd be willing to come back, but there are seafood boil restaurants that deliver a more memorable meal for a similar price.
If you're looking for fresh seafood with quick service, it's worth trying. Just keep your expectations reasonable when it comes to the depth of flavor and overall value.“

“I love the food here, but is it policy to print out tickets with your employees whole name on it? First name I can see it, but giving every single person who goes through your drive thru or lobby a ticket with the full name of whomever is working in the drive thru or front counter? That’s a danger to your employees. Maybe you should think about changing that. ❤️🤘🏽“

“We rented the party room for an open house celebrating 60th birthday party and over the course of 4 hours had 100 people show up. We had a variety of appetizers and all was delicious. We had two waiters, Julia and Davey which work their butts off to take care of all of us. Great night with family and friends.“

“Food is tasty, it’s hard to find a good restaurant with quality food. My only complaint is the fortune cookies, they used to have normal fun fortunes in them. Now it’s like all ads. I don’t want to open a cookie to be asked to scan a qr code to download an app. It’s ridiculous. I get enough of that on my phone, I don’t need it coming from my food. Although I applaud the effort of these marketing guys looking for new ways…THIS IS NOT THE FUTURE I assure you. Anywho. Give China house a try, I can honestly say they’ve got good food.“

“My wife and I love LJS but finding a good one is hard. Having said that, this location is amazing! The chicken and hushpuppies were perfectly made, you can tell the oil is clean! The coleslaw slaw and rice are very fresh. And the staff is friendly and fast. This might be out new favorite location!“

“I went in to pick up dinner for my husband, who's in the hospital. Went inside and they were super busy and had a very large order too. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly everyone was taken care of. The staff were really polite and friendly despite being crazy busy and our dinner was perfect. Great job and great staff“
