“Went here last night for the first time, had never even heard of it before. But we were driving down the highway and it stood out to us! Got sat immediately around 7:30 on a Sunday. Our waitress Angel was very knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant and informed us on the menu as well! Service was excellent. We started with the crab spinach dip and it was phenomenal! Then for my entree I got the bacon wrapped jalapeño shrimp over dirty rice and it was exceptional! My fiancé got the seafood pasta (dont remember the exact name) and he says it was great as well. My strawberry margarita was tall and delicious. We had a wonderful experience and will be making our way back!“

“My wife and I love LJS but finding a good one is hard. Having said that, this location is amazing! The chicken and hushpuppies were perfectly made, you can tell the oil is clean! The coleslaw slaw and rice are very fresh. And the staff is friendly and fast. This might be out new favorite location!“

Beautiful atmosphere and very pretty bar area. Small patio area to sit outside or inside with the windows open.“

“The quality of the seafood was surprisingly good, especially considering we're in the middle of Ohio. Everything tasted fresh, and the seafood itself seemed to be high quality.
The service was incredibly fast, which is impressive for a seafood boil restaurant. However, I can't help but wonder if that speed comes at the expense of flavor. The seasoning was good, but it didn't seem like the seafood had much time to marinate, so it wasn't as rich or infused as I've had at other seafood boil spots.
My biggest criticism is the value. For the price, I expected a little more flavor and overall experience. It wasn't a bad meal by any means, and I'd be willing to come back, but there are seafood boil restaurants that deliver a more memorable meal for a similar price.
If you're looking for fresh seafood with quick service, it's worth trying. Just keep your expectations reasonable when it comes to the depth of flavor and overall value.“

“The food is still great, though pricier (what isn't?). The servers are still friendly, helpful, and properly attentive. After the corporate bankruptcy and buyout, the restaurant I go to doesn't seem as vibrant. Nothing terrible, but not operating the way it used to. I will still go (less often with that pricier food).“

“Have been going here few times every year - food was always pretty good and the price was not over the top... I like they combined the Thai and Indian restaurants together and you can now mix both cuisines from the same table (seating was just 4-5 small tables at Ravis before). And glad the food is equally good no matter which cuisine. You can sit anywhere you want but recommend the Thai side to the right which seems to be more upscale although it's the same waiting staff who btw were pretty quick (after they combined, went once for a weekday lunch and recently for a weekday dinner).
Noting that there are a LOT more tables between the two places now (30?)- so I can see how they could get overloaded during peak times unless they have more than 2 waiters? And they are good folks - don't expect it to be like a corporate run place.“
