“On Oct 1, 2024 - I was looking for a nice bar with great down to earth food. The chain restaurants are so boring and predictable. I travel a lot! I had just finished a project and after a 10 hour day of driving. I wanted to sit down with a beer, check emails on the laptop, and then have a nice dinner. The wait staff was great. They got me seated quickly at a table that I got to choose. She showed me the beer list and let me sample some local beers I had never encountered before, and very soon, I had a nice cold, tall beer at my table. She checked on me often but didn't push me to get the table to turn. I ordered a burger and fries that was cooked to a perfect medium, and the fries were fresh. It felt like a bar that knows your name.
The next night, my crew 4, that was a day behind me, stopped and also had a great great meal with stupendous service.
Do yourself a favor and check this place out!! You will be happy you did!

“This is one of the best restaurant's in Toledo area. They have delicious food and all kinds of wonderful drinks. You can come and just hang out and watch the game or you can book the banquet room and have a party. The patio is awesome they even have a full bar out on the patio and the fire pit is always warm and cozy. So stop on out where they'll treat you like family.

Kid-friendliness: They are definitely kid-friendly and offer high chairs and booster seats.

Wheelchair accessibility: They are completely wheelchair accessible it is only one floor and easy to get in and out of all doors and restroom areas.“

“We ate here for the first time last night! They were of course very steady for a Saturday night, but they seated us quickly despite being early to our reservation. The service was quick and attentive, the tacos were delicious, and I loved the variety of side options! They also had Saturday specials and had a deal on margarita carafes, which I feel like is unheard of on weekends. Our new favorite Mexican restaurant!“

“We loved our dinner at Ameera! Nick and his staff were so friendly, kind, and welcoming. We brought our 7, 6, and 3 year olds and they went out of their way to make sure our kids had a good experience too. The kids portions were perfect for our kids, especially because our portions were large so they tried some of ours too! Our kids deemed Ameera their new favorite restaurant, and we agree! The food was delicious and worth every penny. Thanks Nick for a wonderful dinner!“

“Miss J is very sweet her desert is very soft and fluffy and her frosting is perfect it’s like the perfect combo of buttercream and whipped frosting sweet but not too sweet. Her decor is amazing you can tell she puts love into what she makes she even has put a custom cupcake together for me on the spot with no hassle and is very quick with it haha. She’s a joy to buy from an i recommend her to everyone I know. Took photo mid way through lol“

“I recently read The Flying Joe is a top 50 (or maybe it was top100) coffee shop in the US. Whether it’s top 50 or 100, the honor is well deserved. Cool spot, excellent coffee and prompt, efficient service. Always busy, but not overly so. Two big thumbs up!

Parking: A few spots out front, but the majority of spots are in the back.“

“If you're a michigan fan or ohio fan this place is welcoming to both. The food, especially the half soup half sandwich is enough to fill any appetite. I got the half Ruben half Chicken and Dumpling. The soul was a full portion and the sandwich was equally satisfying. The drinks are easy and quick, Amy was my server and wonderful to deal with. Can't wait to come back and give more business and money to this lovely location in charming downtown Maumee.“

“Have loved this bar since I was old enough to step foot in there. The bartenders are like family and always look out for their patrons. Bathrooms are always impeccably clean, the pool tables are leveled and the cues are always in good shape! The patio is nice to be able to have a smoke if you want one and still be able to have your beer with you. Prices are AMAZING!! I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about this place except DJ Martin or Mark whatever his name is. He’s rude and arrogant, and just downright mean. I try to avoid going if he’s there which sucks bc it’s a favorite spot for our friend group.“

“Restaurant is across from the river and right by a trailhead for the Great Allegheny Passage trail. Wife had tacos and I have a big burrito. Both were very good. Restaurant was busy and limited staff were working hard to keep drinks and food moving (great job)! Great place to hike or bike a trail, grab a beer and a relaxing meal. Very dog friendly as well.“
