“If you're looking for a great Chinese restaurant in the area, look no further than Main Moon. This American Chinese spot has quickly become my go-to for satisfying my cravings for classic dishes like sesame chicken and beef fried rice. The portions are generous and the flavors are spot-on. I've been there several times now and have yet to have an order come out wrong, even when I've requested something a little more customized. But the real star of the show at Main Moon is their crab rangoons! These little fried dumplings are filled with a delicious crab mixture and are unlike any other I've had before. They are super crispy on the outside and the filling is absolutely phenomenal. I'm not even typically a fan of crab rangoons, but these are so good, I've been known to make a special trip from PA just to grab a few. AND, I don't even want until I get home; I just eat them in my car! Trust me, they are that good. If you're in the area, don't miss out on these little treats. Order 8 or 32 and enjoy!“

“The food was really good and they were very quick! The staff was nice, we got general tsaos chicken, chicken lo mein, pork fried rice, egg rolls, wonton soup, and crab Rangoons. All super good, but our favorite was the crab rangoons and the chicken lo mein. Everything was cooked well and super tasty.“

“I've been going here for ages for comfort food. The service is calm and the atmosphere is relaxed. I live in Texas now and try to get here when I come back to visit family.While the dining room is still closed, there is a small group of tables to eat at on site and the food is packaged to go. This worked out great because didn't need to ask for a doggie bag when I filled up on cream cheese blossoms like I always do.“

“We have been going to Shang Hai River for over 15 years. The food is always fresh and delicious; the staff friendly and attentive. We absolutely will not eat Chinese food anywhere else!Also, to the person who left a negative review because of an annoying customer; you should not have faulted the restaurant owner for his bad behavior. “My go to is usually the general tso's chicken and crab rangoon. The crab rangoon does not have a strong crab flavor, it's more cream cheese and slightly sweet. However it's still really good. The general tso's is so good. It's got a little heat to it, but it's not overwhelmingly spicy. You can still taste all of the amazing flavors in it. The last time I dined in, the chicken was perfectly crispy. It was still pretty crispy the next day after microwaving it. They do give you a very generous amount of food, and I always look forward to the leftovers the next day.The service there is always good. The employees are very polite, and attentive. They keep up on our drinks very well. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. The parking in the Plaza that it's in, is not the greatest. The parking in front of the restaurant is very limited and tight to get in and out. I'd suggest just parking in the larger section of the parking lot, it's a little more of a walk but less stressful if you get stressed in tight parking spots. This is one of my favorite places to eat at though.“

“We are so happy to have stumbled upon this place. The Chinese food was some of the best we've had since we left Oregon. Wasn't a big fan of the rice, but it wasn't horrible. Unfortunately, they put tons of onions in it. The egg drop soup was great! They serve tea, which I haven't had done in forever. And their little dumpling dish (the wooden one) was absolutely adorable. Very friendly service and they were great with our son. (4)“

“I've eaten here a few times. Ok, for instance, I love the bone in Chinese ribs. This place has them! And they are perfection. Slow roasted, with that red glaze. Seriously good. Also, most (all) hot and sour soup is vinegary as heck. China Star's hot and sour is loaded with mushrooms, has a great taste, and not all full of vinegar flavor. I really, really like this place!“

“Amazing old school Chinese food tucked away in a busy Boardman strip mall. Reminds me of the Cantonese restaurants of my youth, which are sadly a thing of the past. Don't let the simple and plain interior fool you. Wonderful food and amazing prices. Stopped in for lunch and had the Shrimp Egg Foo Yong. Came with hot tea, fried rice and wonton soup. Delicious! Very nice portion for the total cost of $8.56. I live over the border in PA and I will definitely return for lunch or dinner when I'm in the area. Forget the abysmal Chinese buffet down the street, stop at House of China instead. You don't be disappointed“
