“The bartender was really nice. We talked about our pets. Seems to be a place where regulars hang out (I was with my friend whose hometown is Hudson and she was super familiar with it). A friend I used to have told me it's a swinger's bar, but I didn't investigate that claim, haha. We didn't have any food. My friend and I were having an after dinner drink and then we left. Pretty nice end to a girls' night on a Thursday.“
“Music Trivia on Fridays with Nox are so much fun! Pretzels (especially with chive butter) and Keg tots are great appetizers to go with the trivia. Also - all the beers and drinks we've had have been great. The Strawberry Magic from Ciderboys is the guest tap currently and a delicious cider.Great service, very attentive. We'll definitely be back!“
“Food is quite delicious and the oysters the one's I consumed were fresh. Service is ok. Maybe a bit more friendly. I'm not a regular though. Ambiance is a bit distracting and different music can be a bit loud. I've only been there a few times. However I do continue to go back. Check it out for yourself. I would say it's worth it.“
“First time at Tiki Underground, drinks were great and the food was especially fantastic. Chef Justin's "One Bite Kitchen" is killing it, the food is the best around and well worth the money! If you haven't been here yet then it's a must “
“Oh my goodness, we had an appointment, goggled where to eat and this place came up, you can see they have many options, plus a full menu. I had the Gouda omelette, he had the chicken avocado omelette, Irene kept the coffee following,Vegetarian options: Plus if you want, can add meat to any dish“
“Definitely a nice quiet dark dive bar. Table was a little sticky. Waitress was sincerely kind and friendly. They were out of wings the night we came, on a Wednesday. Had a burger instead. The hamburger bun was grilled nicely and everything tasted really good. Good music and friendly patrons. You get the feeling that the bar is a little understaffed. Like everything else these days. But it's not having items on the menu is not acceptable to me. Especially wings. I know they're hard to get and they're expensive. But you are charging more than $15 for a dozen. You should have them. I'm giving four stars because the Lady bartender was very kind and the food was pretty good. Husbands "specialty" fries were a bit on the greasy side.“
“Traveled to the area for a weekend and was recommended this place for karaoke. The DJ was very friendly and the patrons just the same also the sound system was very good. It became very busy as the night went on yet still had the space to not feel cramped. The bartender was very professional, also a great singer. While there I did not have any food but they were very busy with food service. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area ??“
“Good food and service. We enjoy dining in this hidden gem. The taco salad, lobster bisque, ham and potato soup, hamburgers, fries, wings, and carrot cake were all phenomenal. Th wait staff is friendly and attentive. If you haven't been there, add it to your bucket list. It won't disappoint.“
“In Peninsula for the Ramp Up Festival with friends. Decided to stop here for lunch. They have a good selection of craft beers. I ordered a mushroon bacon burger with onion rings. Burger tasted good but was a bit dry. Ordered medium and got well done so it was not juicy how I like them. Onion rings were crispy and good. They had a special ramp flavored IPA on tap, a very unusual beer with a garlicky finish. Our server was excellent today. Patio seating was nice on a sunny day.“
“Traveling on I80 and stopped for the night at a hotel and Rockne's Pub looked like an inviting place to eat. Very nice menu and we received excellent service throughout our stay. I tried the black bean soup which came in a very large bowl and was very good. My wife had the Reuben which she enjoyed. Of course, there was Yuengling on tap which we always enjoy. We had a very nice meal and time at Rockne's Pub.“
“I went here for the first time recently and didn't really know what to expect. From what everyone tells me, it was a wilder than normal crowd, but even so, it was a blast! Everyone was really cool and lively and we all had a wonderful time. 5 out of 5 would drink here again!“
“I found Lynn’s Bar off of the Facebook karaoke group in Akron. Being from out of town, I come out this way a few times a year and my wife and I enjoy a fun karaoke evening. I came in and felt welcomed instantly! Just like a regular. I had a great time with DJ Bob and all the regulars and a few other first timers. I look forward to coming back when I’m in town in May and in June. The food was very good and beer nice and cold! Service was awesome. Highly recommend checking Lynn’s out.“
“So I didn't actually go into this place but turned in to avoid the ever so annoying state trooper behind me. And as I leave. . a large woman tells and tries to sell me the most "fire weed " in Akron. I didn't buy it. But I feel as if I'm guna regret that for life“
“Food was excellent and honest patrons go there. I dropped my change purse in the parking lot and a very nice gentleman came in and asked around about the car type in the parking lot next to him and I said it was mine asked if I had dropped the change purse and yes it was mine!!! Everything was in it along with all the money as well!! Both my husband and i thanked him multiple times cause there was stuff in it that had sentimental value to me and noone else!!! Thank you again to the kind and honest gentleman!!! We will definitely go back to try more food it was again excellent tasting and was served hot!!!❤️“
“Lily J is one of the best servers I've ever had . Pays attention and asks how everything is or do we need anything and made sure we didn't have a month full or just took a bite . Hopefully others will take after her skills . Very professional and personable young lady . . Dinner , 2 different appetizers and dessert and drinks were all amazing. We will definitely be back.“
“Twinsburg's best kept secret! Around the corner from Heinen's. Great food. HIGHLY recommend the loaded tater tots. These ain't your mamas tater tots!!! Be prepared to get a take out box. Amazing view of the golf course.Or a cozy fireplace. Whatever your mood.“
“It's a quaint little place to go if you don't want the hustle and bustle of a larger bar or eatery. Wing night is definitely wing ding night.... but the drinks are on point and the staff is cool. All in all, not a bad place to hang out.“
“I usually visit a place a few times before reviewing, which we did. I gotta say the bartender Deville is super friendly, and always makes the best drinks!! We just moved to area and tried several other places, not bad, but The Getaway is our new “corner bar” for drinks and great music. It’s a hidden gem of Akron Valley and made us feel at home. 2 pool tables, local bar atmosphere which was welcoming to us, and great drinks!!! Haven’t tried the food, but a decent sized menu, and other people rave about it! We will def be back, again and again! ?????“
“Many times, when you go to a bar/restaurant inside a venue you do not expect or receive much. This is an exception as the food was surprisingly good and reasonably priced. The only complaint was the server never came to ask if we wanted another round of drinks which in my case, was good, because the Dr Pepper was flat. The one server with the long blonde braids needs to control them a little better as they were swinging everywhere.“
“I just ate the Cobb Salad, and really liked it. Expensive, but you get what you paid for, and its worth it. Large portions and great ingredients all around. They even gave me the grilled chicken nice a warm in tinfoil, separate of the salad. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. Might even dine in next time because its a cool vibe in there“
“$18.00 bar tab. Need I say more? No, but I will. Redstone is an old bar in an old neighborhood in Akron. It is old school and cozy. The regulars hang at the bar sipping beers and cocktails. Talking about the same things they talked about yesterday because, well, it is Akron. The husband and wife team owners are very nice and friendly. They are, however, new to the bar owner game and have some things to learn. Taking a class of Bar Owning 101 should help. If you visit Redstone and the owner (wife) is your bartender and you order a cocktail, be prepared to help her with it. My buddy ordered a vodka tonic and he had to help her with the ingredients. I know, I know, vodka tonic. She was super sweet and with a bit of help she made a quality vodka tonic. Becky and I were having bottled beer/canned White Claw, so no issues. The next time we are in Akron, you can be sure we will visit Redstone again. $2.75 for a bottle of beer, are you kidding me? My last beer was at happy hour price, $2.00! Are you friggin' serious right now? Two bucks for a beer? Hell yeah we'll be back to Redstone! We can't afford not to! Yuengling!“
“Recently stopped in here one evening driving by, had a fabulous bar maid named Emily (emmy). She made my drinks in a kick a** timely fashion, was incredibly friendly and a lot of fun to be around! Everyone should stop in here and try it out!“
