My boyfriend and I frequent here and every time it tastes a little different which makes you know it’s fresh. This tiny gem is owned by the main server Ariel who is so kind and attentive and you can tell he truly loves sharing what he does!! I enjoyed all the food except the cross-bridge rice noodles. To me, cross-bridge rice noodles are supposed to have really oily and heavy chicken broth as soup base. The heavy chicken broth not only give cross-bridge rice noodles its rich flavor and creamy texture, but also helps keep the noodle warm (enough to cross the bridge. That's exactly why it's named like that). This on the other hand, is more like a regular rice noodles, just served in a heated pot. The taste is not bad though, it's just not reaching my standards of cross-bridge rice noodles, sorry.

“I've been to this Chinese restaurant several times before, and this time came here on Saturday night with my family for dinner, as my most recent visit. The food here is delicious and pretty authentic, with a great selection as well. (I especially love their West Lake Beef Soup, would highly recommend!) The restaurant atmosphere is a bit outdated but still clean, and the service is good. The staff here are nice to customers, including the waitresses, who did a good job taking our food orders and serving. Overall this restaurant seems like a good place to eat at, and we will be coming back soon to enjoy more!“

“This is a treasure. Three of us, with a total of 12 years spent in China, ordered a small banquet: steamed fish, stir fred vegetables, varied preparations of beef, pork, shrimp, and tofu. Some dumplings. It was like a dream of being back in China. Wonderful. Fresh orange slices at the end. All delicious, all done right. Cleveland has several very fine Chinese restaurants now. But do not skip this one just because it looks modest.“

I bought two Shrimp Egg Rolls, thinking they would be like the place I used to go to on Libby and Warrensville. To my surprise, I could only eat one and the shrimp were so large and delicious. Vegetarian options: Anything on the menu can be vegetarian except dumplings, crab ragoon and stuff like that but you can get veggie fried rice, veggie lo mein, veggie egg foo young veggie egg rolls and they even have general TSO’s tofu which is really good!“

“Delicious Chinese take out! Exactly what you expect out of a local takeout spot. We got the honey chicken, sesame chicken, and a side of pork lo mein. We are picky about vegetables, but they did no onion in the rice and no mushrooms in the lo mein with no problem! We always appreciate that willingness to accommodate!

“I LOVE a good little hole in the wall that serves up great food without crazy price tags! I got the spicy beef noodle soup which was huge and delicious and the scallion pancakes which were a little greasy but super crispy and tasty. “This is a great little place, and they are usually quick with orders. My favorite item is the wonton soup! Some of the chicken dishes I've gotten taste good but have way too much sauce.

There is no indoor seating, and beware if you're going in the winter, it can be really chilly in there if you are waiting inside. The parking lot is small but I've always found space.“

The owner just made a special delivery for me as they had no driver , I didn't mind waiting for the driver to get in for an hour but they decided to make a special trip. “We used to go to Dragon Garden as it was close and really good. Since they closed, we were looking for legit standard Chinese takeout and think we've found it. The Pork Fried Rice and Shrimp Fried Rice were fantastic. They were not stingy at all with the pork or shrimp. The Pork was not fatty either. The Lo Mein noodles were a little overdone, but they loaded it with chicken, so good there too. The Wonton Soup was also great, huge dumplings and had great flavor. The Orange Chicken was also great, and you could actually taste the orange. Egg Rolls were pretty good, same as the Crab Rangoon. Service was great; they were really fast and really kind.

Overall, if you liked Dragon Garden in Northfield Center and are looking for replacement Chinese takeout, please consider this place. We will definitely be going back and they have earned 5/5.“
