“Graat place to pull up by boat or the road. River is quick to help secure your boat and does it with a smile! The entire bar and wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was surprisingly good, I was expecting "tourist" food and got so much more. The menu has many gluten free options, which is very appreciated. The shrimp and scallops meal (gf) was amazing, the scallops were BIG and cooked perfectly. The chicken brushetta meal (gf) was juicy and full of flavor. The fish tacos were very fresh with large pieces of fish and great for a quick meal. The shrimp Cajun pasta was also a hit with our group, a large serving of pasta and I think 6 large shrimp. All of the meals were very generous portions.“
“Always busy when you go on the weekend. Be prepared to wait for you food if it's busy. Otherwise the food is good (try the flatbreads) and the drinks are cold. Will ALWAYS come back!Kid-friendliness: Great area for the kids to run around“
“Our server, Jessica was terrific! Our table had individuals with dietary restrictions and she worked with us and the chef to make sure that all of our needs were met. She was concerned and professional when our food arrived and took extra care while being pleasant and patient. The food was good, atmosphere pretty, the was service excellent, and our friends could eat safely. It was a good night.“
“First time in what is now my favorite place for Asian food. The dinner was fabulous and the sweet sour soup was deliciousActually better than ever I've enjoyedClean clean cleanFriendly service and reasonably pricedWill tell everyone to enjoy this great restaurant“
“Abby was our fantastic server and was very helpful and friendly throughout. We shared the calamari to start. It was good but a lot of peppers to bulk up the dish while minimizing the actual squid. I had the Great Lakes fish & chips. The fish was excellent. My partner enjoyed the shrimp and scallop linguine and reported that it was excellent. This restaurant is part of the Cedar Point amusement park so the prices are high for the product. Abby made it worthwhile though. And the season pass discount also helped! Recommended!“
“I haven't ordered prime rib in ages, but it was the special the night we were there, so I went for it! It was a bit overdone for my liking and I would have liked more jus, but overall the taste was good and the portion size amazing. Side salad was well-made too.“
“Best place to eat on the island. Don't waste your time trying to find better than Topsy's, because it isnt there. Can't beat the atmosphere on the water, the food is only one of a couple places on the island that is realistically priced for what you are getting. Highly recommend!“
“This place was packed on a Saturday when we stopped with our kids, but surprisingly great service and food! Our waiter was great and helped us figure out the best menu items since we had never eaten here. The food was all amazing! The chicken tenders, brats, kale coleslaw, burger, all was amazing! We would definitely visit again when we are at Put-in-Bay.“
“I've been going to the Pump for years. It is my go to for lunch or dinner on the island. The staff is friendly and the food is very good. Also one of the few, if not the only, restaurant/bar on the island with a pool table, so it is a great place as a night spot too. Try the fish tacos. They're the best! And don't forget their special hot sauce for the tacos and the fries.“
