“I’m not from the area and was looking for a place to eat. Originally planned on going to Big Egg next door. The doors advertisement caught my eye and decided to go there instead. 10/10 of experience. It’s sooooooo HARD TO FIND GREAT FOOD FOR A REASONABLE COST THESE DAYS. It’s easy for me to feel uncomfortable in certain atmosphere and I tell ya .. I felt super comfortable. I will be back for sure. I pray Captain Hooks Restaurant truly prospers! Please keep the great quality food going lol!“

“My friend and I went on a weeknight, so not too busy. The one server, Kim did a great job getting our order and giving us explanation on how to order. Basically you pick 2 seafoods and seasoning. Lots of choices...crab, shrimp, mussels even adouille sausage. Every bag came with a corn ear and potato. If you didnt to be too messy they do have baskets of fried fish.“

The four of us dined on melt-in-the-mouth short ribs, perfectly cooked burger, unbelievably flavorful meatballs and pizza and a lemon cake with pistachio frosting that our absolute ROCK STAR server, Michael, was kind enough to comp for this birthday girl. “We had dinner last night here. We were seated right away. The service was good. The restaurant is very cool! My wife ordered the 6 oz. Filet w/ scallops. She is still raving about it. It was very flavorful & tender. I ordered the Cowboy ribeye w/ a lobster tail the steak was delicious! The lobster could have been done a little more. We highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Las Margaritas is an amazing spot! Get it weekly for lunch since it is down the street from our office. Food is always fresh and delicious. So many great options on the menu. Service is always quick & friendly. Lucky to have a place like this nearby.“

Today's Easter brunch was no exception; not only did everything on the buffet taste fresh, but the staff continually replenished the food to ensure everyone was able to enjoy it. “This is our favorite Chinese place. I love noodles and they have a good variety of noodles. Lo Meij, Chow Fun (dry), etc.This isn't the typical Americanized Chinese where most entrees are in either a sweet orange sauce or a bland white or brown sauce. This is much more in line with authentic Chinese and each dish has its own unique flavor. My favorites are the Sea, Wind and Fire and the Blackened Steak for meat entrees. The beef is also higher quality than many typical Chinese restaurant.For vegetables, I'm not a huge fan of the texture of eggplant, but I love the Chinese Eggplant and how it's prepared here. The Chinese Broccoli and Bok Choy are also good options.If you are dining there, the experience is pleasant. The place is tastefully decorated and the bathrooms are clean. But like most places, they can use a little more help on the service side. However, it's clear everybody is working hard and it's not a problem unless you are just trying to get through your meal quickly as possible.“

“Excellent atmosphere and food. There appeared to be some confusion among the servers on several occasions on issues I couldn't discern. Plus, they also appeared a bit harried at times too. As well, the service was a bit "uneven" on several occasions during the meal. And, more specifically, when my table was cleared between courses, silverware was not automatically replenished. Plus, there were noticeable gaps in getting my table cleared between courses.“

“I travel frequently and always search out Indian cuisine. I stumbled across this little place quite by accident, the small parking lot was full so I figured the local people knew something. That’s a serious understatement, this place stands toe to toe with any Indian Restaurant I’ve ever been in, and I frequent Indian Restaurants all over. My work takes me to different areas, so I think I have experience with different cuisines. This place is a real treasure, if I lived closer, I would be a regular. I encouraged the owner to open a branch in my small university town, but he’s got a jewel of a restaurant right here. Take my word for it, hands down one of the best dining experiences anywhere!“

“Everything about this place was incredible. We got Jeff as our server and he was very considerate. He even boxed up her food and threw away the fatty bits of steak she cut off but kept the ones that weren't.Firstly, compliments to the chef.The food was timely, and the steak was the best I've ever eaten, hands down. Since the restaurant was busy, it was also loud, which meant our party of seven had a hard time hearing conversations in our group.I ordered the 6oz. Filet mignon and lobster meat. The steak was cooked perfectly, and everything tasted good. A couple of people in our group ordered the tuna, which was heavily seasoned and too spicy for one.I thought the prices were a little higher than other restaurants, but not too bad. “This is a nice restaurant that exceeded my expectations. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. I walked into here and was seated in a booth, which came with complimentary tortilla chips and salsa, which tasted good. I ordered the burrito de la diabla, which is a spicy burrito with chorizo and beef inside with a side of rice. The burrito wasn’t very spicy, but it tasted quite good nonetheless. My booth had a bottle of hot sauce with it, which was much spicier and added a lot of flavor to my meal. After having this hot sauce with my meal, I left, satisfied with my experience. I gave this Mexican restaurant five stars because it has tasty food.Parking: There’s free parking around the restaurant.“

“My Wife and I went to Mahle's Friday the 22nd for our 38th wedding anniversary. because we were eating early we didn't think we would need reservations but upon arrival we were told that with the walk-ins they had and the reservations on the books they were full. We mentioned to Beverly that we had traveled a considerable distance, upon hearing that she found us a perfect spot in the corner of the back dining room. And as always the food and service was excellent.“

“I loved everything about this place. Cozy, friendly and most importantly, delicious! Sunday is half off all wines under 100.00.Great date night or dinner with the guys or girls. Would strongly suggest the lobster cakes, lobster pasta and pepper soup. A little on the pricey side but was well worth it.“
