“Great local bar. Classic pub atmosphere. I love the train depot touches around the restaurant . We had great service. Food was good! I had a chicken cheesesteak with onion rings and my husband had Asian Tacos. Service was fast. There is a large bar in the center of the room, perfect for drinking with friends and watching the game. They have a fantastic patio for outdoor dining and live entertainment! If you are looking for a bar/pub with good bar food The Depot At Union Station is the place to go.“
“I had the Friday special, prime rib and it was very tasty! The sides were good as well. There was live music, and the band played 60's music, so for us older groups, it was great!. If you want to talk while the band is playing, you're better off moving out from the covered patio. Overall, it was a nice experience. If you are going with a group, make a reservation, they were very busy.“
“Fresh food in a quaint country setting. We eat in and also get take out. Friendly staff and clean environment. A lot of build-your-own breakfast options all day long plus daily specials. They even have a delivery option if you're feeling extra lazy!“
“We went here for lunch before we headed over to a beach to watch the solar eclipse we got there right before the rush so we didn't wait long for anything. All 4 of us loved our food and I think it was probably the best shrimp po boy I ever had. I wish this was closer to where I live, I would order that weekly!!!“
“Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more! I think every employee came up to us throughout our dinner to greet us, ask if we needed anything, cleared plates, filled our cups, etc. Also, our server was very knowledgeable about what was and was not gluten free on their menu. Their gluten free bun for the burger is fantastic! Such a great atmosphere as well. Can’t wait to be back.“
“Took my neighbors on Friday for fish. They had never been to Hazel’s before. We all had the fish dinner and it was delicious. We were extremely happy with the size of the portions. Everything was delicious. The price was great for the 3 seniors and we all agreed that we would be eating there more.Good place to eat and great service!“
“This is a good old fashioned Mom & Pop Restaurant in Spencer, Ohio. We were out searching for a good breakfast and we FOUND IT here at "Spencer Twist." We spoke with owner Dave. He said he was owned the restaurant for 8 years. I asked if the hours are consistent weekly. He says d he has been doing some catering from graduation parties and some hours are cut occasionally. I suggest if you are planning on heading to Spencer Twist you call first to make sure they are open. When we walked in, restaurant was 75% full. It seats 30 people. As far as our breakfast food. Delicious! Perfectly prepared to our request EGGS. Home fries were crispy and we discussed the best home fries we've ever had. The value was very very good. Food is served on paper plates, no big deal, still delicious. There was specials that were not on the menu. Dave said he's planning on specials of chicken paprikash and ribs. Yum! We will definitely be back!“

“If you are looking for some true home cooked meals where you are treated as a human, go here!! Our server treated us like a hungey family member and made sure of beverages were full and we had plenty of napkins. The serving sizes are perfect, and they really have the best cole slaw.“
“I had an urge for pizza and had seen this on the menu as pizza of the month. I made the 40 min round trip today and it was worth it! It was fresh & hot at pick up and full disclosure, I had a slice on my way home...couldn't help myself! The only request I'd make when ordering this pizza is to have the pesto drizzle added after baking, not before. Hope to get back there soon for dine in!“
“This diner has a lot of character, friendly servers and lots of classic diner meal choices. We ordered the lunch deals (sandwich, fries and cup of soup) for $9.99. The portions were generous and the chicken and rice soup was very tasty.Parking: Ample parking on site.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and lots of space for groups. Plenty of kid-menu choices.“
“One of my favorites. The food and atmosphere are terrific. We prefer to sit in the booths near the fireplace. The service is good but not great. We’ve had a waitress a few times that is excellent but we’ve had a couple of other servers that were good but not great which makes the service a bit inconsistent for me. Overall we really enjoy coming here and would recommend for others.“
“Heard about this place. Kept driving by a billboard with some amazing looking tacos on it.We finally went to Brickyard Bar & Grill. The atmosphere was very nice. Bar and tables on one side. Just tables on another side. The bar side was a bit noisy. The other area was better. So it depends on what you are looking for. Our waiter was amazing! Now, let's talk about the food!!I found out that the tacos on the billboard were the 3 Brisket tacos. Omg! They were phenomenal. Seriously, the brisket melted in your mouth. Had sweet onion, feta cheese, and a slaw mix that was to die for. This was my first time there. We will definitely be back. It was great to find this gem of a place so close by. Where the food is actually homemade and not just warmed up from Sam's club like other places in the are south. LolAbsolutely a must visit if you are near Oberlin. Brickyard Bard & Grill, see you soon!A.K.“
“Came here with my friend Jack for a motorcycle ride lunch. We got to meet Aunt B and had a pleasant chat about her recent ownership of the restaurant. If you want to experience a friendly, wholesome piece of Americana, this is the place. Our server Theresa was friendly and attentive and the food came out quick, was well cooked and tasty. Our coffee cups were never empty. Treat yourself to this small town gem. Support local eateries or they'll slowly disappear. Aunt B's stays on our list of lunch destinations.“
“1st time at 1833 Restaurant this past weekend. Met my friend after church for brunch. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was DIVINE! I loved this dish. My friend got the banana blueberry pancakes. She shared one with me. The pancakes were amazing as well. I also had a mimosa with my meal. The waitress was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was quite nice. Definitely will be back.“
“I always feel at Hine when I come here. Very friendly staff. They treat you with respect and cater to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The coffee is the bomb.Kid-friendliness: They have a menu for kids. They treat them with a smile.Parking: Parking is on the side and front of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is.“
“Almost definitely the best salad I ever had. Very friendly service and I’ll say it again, absolutely top-tier ingredients!Dietary restrictions: The salad dressing was made in-house so they were able to communicate with us regarding some allergies. No corn!“
“Today, me and my grandmother went to Smitty's Place after getting my hair cut at Cleveland Street Barber Shop. She ordered the Quarter-Pound Cheeseburger, while I ordered the Shrimp Basket and the Soup of the Day. The shrimp basket is cheap and delicious, including 6 deep-fried Butterfly Shrimp and a hearty portion of French Fries. The soup, not as good. Though it tasted great, it was supposed to be spicy. That's why I ordered it. It turned out to be about as spicy as a Poblano Pepper (About half the spiciness of a Jalapeno). I was disappointed, but it didn't stop me from devouring it. Overall, we had a good lunch. I hope to come here again soon.Parking: Parking is right in front of the restaurant, enough for most guests dining in.“
“Excellent music. Nice people. Danielle is the best bartender I have come across in my life. 2 pool tables, $1.25/game. There are 3 rooms. Last food order goes in at 11, 10:30 grill food 10:30 Sun-Thur. Fri & Sat last food is at 1, grill 12:30. There is a late night menu. They have an outdoor bar and outdoor seating. They are on Touchtunes, Keno, and have an ATM. There is also plenty of room for truckers to park. $10/night or $50/month.“
“I’ve lived in Elyria for about six months, I’ve been hearing cookies was the place for wings for years though. Finally made it up there … Saturday night , it was pretty full but the bartenders were courteous and quick with my order . Wings came out quicker than expected too and they were delicious. I got a dozen of each the spicy garlic parm and teriyaki. They gained a new regular tonight.“
“The kitchen is reliably good to excellent. The wait staff is usually very friendly and helpful although occasionally you will get someone that is so basic they miss oppurtunities to try to go for the details that make for a good experience. Don't let the strip mall facade fool you it is a pleasant place to dine at and the patio is particularly nice in decent weather. I go here even though it is somewhat out of my normal range for just popping in for dinner.“
“Met my son-in-law for lunch, as we sat outside on the front porch enjoying the day I decided to try the new "Chunky Hunky", their answer to the dearly beloved, and now gone, Joe's Hungarian burger. Was a decent imitation but I feel needs to be refined if it wants to compete head to head. Found it to be a bit "dry" for my taste and could have used a few more onions & shrooms.Ordered fries on the side and they were crispy & plentiful. Our hostess, Amanda, was on spot and pleasant, a true delight.❤️My son in law had the stuffed peppers and the chicken sandwich, both were "DEEELICIOUS", according to him!! I hear the tacos & wings are more reasons to stop at the LaGrange Tavern, guess I need to go back!!!“
