“My daughter and I came in this afternoon after volunteering for the iron man we were starving… we sat at another downtown restaurant for over 20 minutes being completely ignored while everyone around us was being served so we ended up leaving and coming here… we sat outside a women greeted us at the door apologized and said there was only one server outside so it might be a minute.. which was amazing considering the last place we were at. We had a guy server can’t remember his name but he was great.. even though we did wait for a minute it was okay because we were acknowledged and not ignored. Server was super friendly and nice the food was DELICIOUS! 10/10 experience, we will definitely be back!“

“My teenagers and I were in town for a softball tournament and found this gem Friday morning for breakfast . The food was great and the price was super! The owner and staff were so kind to us and very welcoming . We returned Saturday for lunch and again a great experience . Their food is so good ! Hopefully I can return there again for a visit ! Highly recommend!!“
“Volstead is a great concept. Fantastic fun in an interesting speakeasy setting. Always look forward to stopping in. Best cocktails in town. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and the drinks they create show it. Love the space and lack there of. A definite must while visiting Sandusky. Or on a date. Or if you just love a true quality cocktail.“

“When we arrived at 9:45, they were only operating the fryers and pizza oven. We got chicken tenders with fries and a “lickin chicken” pizza. It did not disappoint! Hot and delicious. The bartender was great and very attentive. It was our first time here and we will be back. Great atmosphere too.“

“Definitely had some Margarita on the Rocks here. The margaritas were delicious. Unsure if they were just a bit more busy than normal for a weekday afternoon, but we didn't get greeted for tableside service. Some tables were greeted, some weren't during the last afternoon Ordered from the bar and paid $26 for 2 margaritas and a Corona... I guess that's Put-in-Bay pricing. Overall 4-star service.“
“With the name Resort in the title, you may expect 4 or 5 star accommodations. Hazards is not The Hilton. What you get are camp chalets, cabins and some of the nicest staff and crew that love where they work and live. It’s the family friendly version of Put In Bay. Adults who are looking to cut loose without the drama you may get elsewhere. Hazards on Middle Bass is a little slice of heaven. You will deal with the nature that comes with island life. So leave those complaints at home. Plenty of bugs. But there is also beautiful wildlife such as swans, eagles and lots of brown rabbits. During the day, cozy up to the pool with plenty of seating. At night, cut loose with live entertainment. The staff will give you plenty of advice on where to explore on the island. And they will be ready with a smile everytime you walk in the front door. I can’t say enough about how fun this place can be.“

“Held my sister in laws 40th birthday party here and rented a Cabana for the group! It was great. They let you decorate if you want, the DJ will congratulate the honored person. The Cabana Girls are excellent with the service. Couldn't have been better.“

“Dating this review for 5/23/23 Food was good! Seems like the kitchen had it together , server was so so . The biggest problem was the drunk a** pretentious owner shitting where he eats and s*** talking his staff the whole time and not realizing he and her are being overheard by customers. Obvious assholes , gonna have a hard time keeping staff“
