“The Village Pump is a great place! The atmosphere is extremely friendly. And the food is some of the tastiest in the area! We’ve been going there for many years and we have never had a bad meal yet! Food comes out piping hot every time and is very flavorful! They have specials each day that are always amazing! I highly recommend this place to anyone!“

“Family owned bar and restaurant that serves excellent, home made goodness. The food is absolutely awesome and is very fair priced. The fish is done perfectly, I also recommend all three kinds of perhohi, the haluski, and the chicken noodle soup. It was a wonderful feast and cost less than $30! Our waitress was so kind and caring. This restaurant is a classic Youngstown bar and restaurant that opened in the 60’s and is still going strong. The food reminds you of grandmas cooking in the good old days. I highly recommend Teenie’s. Go there today!“

“All five stars? Well, it must have been Saturday, I must have gotten a rack of ribs with extra sauce that were smoky good, and the bartender must have done a great job taking my order and getting me a beer.
Seriously, I was absolutely impressed by the ribs. Cooked over charcoal or wood because the smoke ring was perfect, as were the ribs. No fat (NO fat!) and just a slight char on the ends. There are a lot of great rib joints around Youngstown, and since it's harder and harder to find roast lamb on Saturdays, ribs are my safety pick. The ribs at the Royal Oaks were perfect, better after I got them home and slapped them in a casserole and baked at 250 tightly wrapped for like 40 minutes. Absolutely great flavor that will impress anyone who likes a nice rack of ribs.

“We went here because we wanted to go somewhere different. It was a wonderful time!! I wanted cabbage roll, and it was amazing. We shared the burger, honkey platter and the meatballs. All the food was amazing and the staff was great!
Parking: The lot in the back can get full if you don't get there a little bit early or later especially on game nights.“

“I visited Irish Bob's two weeks ago for the first time. Mom and I took a two hour trip north from Coshocton County to attend the Halfway to St Patrick's Day celebration. The food and entertainment were both excellent! I regret not making it to your Pub sooner. I lived in Boardman for eight years but never went. At least now I know that there's at least one good Irish restaurant/pub in Mahoning County, for the next time I'm back in the area!“

“I had the "Boe's" wings and I was skeptical at first because of the atmosphere of the bar, but I was impressed by the wings! They were delicious and had a lot of sauce. I'm sure the owner doesn't have enough money to give the bar a makeover and a road sign but I don't mind because I went there for the food. Try the wings!“
“Food? Seriously? Well, not for the food. But for the beer, watching Gunsmoke on TV, and pool tables and darts, this is a damn nice joint. Open at 11 or noon every day, well except Mondays. Mondays is hit or miss, depends on if anyone answers the door. I’m kidding! And seriously. Two good bar pool tables. That and the ginger ale (I don’t even drink!) and the folks who patronize the place are why I like it here.“

“This is the best happy hour in town. Half off from 4-7pm this is the liberty location. All of the bartenders are awesome but the two that stand out for me are Meg and Kyle. These are true intoxicologists. But please believe All of the bartenders here ROCK! I asked Meg to do her thing and she do not disappoint she is a true drink connoisseur. Stop in and enjoy some spirits with awesome people.“
