“First visit today - I ordered 2 full slabs, the fried cabbage, jalapeño corn bread stuffing, and potato salad sides, all of which perfectly compliment the smoke on those ribs. Also got to sample a new menu item - jerk pork burnt ends. Absolutely fantastic! The flavor of that jerk sauce will give you chills. Definitely coming back to try everything (yes, everything) else. Dine in or carry-out - just go get some!!“

“I would recommend Velvet Smoke BBQ in white oak. One of the best bbq places I have ever had and it comes out of a small mom and pop shop. The ribs, burnt ends, and the wings are by far my favorite. Best BBQ in town, and I would recommend it to anyone that I know. If you are in the Cincinnati, OH area you need to check out this place!! 10/10!“

We had the brisket and the smoked and breaded wings. Everything was tasty and delicious- I especially loved the collard greens today which were seasoned perfectly. The overall vibe is casual and authentic with a warm sense of community. Regulars were popping in and out raving about their Friday cravings as they placed and picked up their orders. Joe, Leslie and the team never disappoint! Friendliest and most welcoming hosts in the neighborhood. Needless to say, my co-worker is also now a fan.“

“I have been staying at The Phelps for business. I frequently get in late, and quite frankly do not feel like going out. The Phelps Bar is the perfect solution. I have been staying at The Phelps Hotel on and off for roughly a month so far. I have had most of their menu items and have yet to have one that has not been excellent. They recently changed their food and drink menu, so there are many new items to try. They have an outstanding "Signature Drink" Menu. My favorite is the Fig & Rosemary Old Fashioned that is hands down the very best Old Fashioned I have had anywhere, and that includes The Greenbrier Resort. The staff are all amazing and help to make the experience even better. My hat is off to Mark (I think he is the manager), Kat and Tynisa who run the bar, and David the cook. If you find yourself in the Downtown Cincinnati area close to the stadiums, then you really should try The Phelps Bar. You will not be disappointed.“

“Montgomery Inn definitely has an old-school charm to it. The interior of the building is much larger than I expected and there’s ample seating and space for several hundreds of people. The food is alright, nothing to rave about, but it’s neither fancy nor quick service, somewhere in the middle of the two. We were helped today by Staci who was wonderful and ensured that our large party had everything we needed and were even surprised that the automatic gratuity was set at below industry standard, coming in at 14%. Overall it was a good experience and we left with no complaints.“

“Absolutely one of my favorite places to enjoy a night out. Laid back fun atmosphere with Live Music and seating. Huge patio area with giant Jenga, Cornhole and Connect Four. The firepit seating is large!! Outdoor bar and tons of picnic table. Inside vibes are immaculate with tons of seating, classic arcade games and billiards!! Food Menu just got a massive upgrade and it’s a must try! My favorite was the burnt ends brisket and mac-n-cheese.“

“Went here with a few friends and had an awesome time. The staff treated us like royalty and the owner recognized one person in our group as one of their regulars. The wings were outstanding and you can order them per wing instead of it being a fixed amount, which is always my preference. This was my fist time there and I would recommend it to anyone. It's a great location, the inside is really cool with the exposed barrels displayed, and it was very clean. Plenty of TVs inside the bar area too. Our group will be going back again soon.“

We were visiting from the Cleveland Ohio area and found this place totally by accident. We felt like family 5 minutes after we walked in the door. “Longhorns has always been one of our favorites. The service is great atmosphere consistently that of a steakhouse! Either lunch or dinner is a nice and relaxed steakhouse atmosphere. The service is great and the food is awesome as well. Especially steaks. Only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because if one wishes their steak cooked a certain way say medium rare, you need to ask for it specifically. On occasion the cooks will either undercook or overcook the steak however most of the time they get it right. I'm not one to complain but I've seen other people complain and the steakhouse will either provide a new meal or cook a steak more. Other than that we love our longhorn steakhouse.“
