“The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Service was very positive. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and helpful. The location may be a bit off the beaten path, but that adds to the charm and is exactly what we were looking for.Rooms: Inn is in a converted 100+ year old stone school building which makes for a unique experience. Room was clean and comfortable. We used the stairs to reach our 3rd floor room which had a view of the lake.Food & drinks: Wine bar onsite is a nice feature“

“Beautiful Inn, Everything was ready, clean able to check in early enjoyed a nice bottle of their wine that they provided close to everything! Walking distance to the Marblehead lighthouse to local establishments for breakfast or for a few cocktails and fun that there is a winery and coffee shop right downstairs! Definitely will come back and stay again!!“

“We had Maddie as our server the Saturday before Mother’s Day and it was our first time there. WOW! We had an expected wait and while my toddler started getting fussy (mind you we drove a little over an hour to meet the rest of our party) a staff member offered him a yogurt or gummy worms to help take the edge off. Our food was exceptional. Maddie was one of the most incredible servers we have ever had and all 3 of us adults have worked in the industry. The kids were so well taken care of and we never had to ask for anything like extra napkins or refills. Maddie was so on top of it. Thank you to the entire staff for one of the absolute best Mother’s Day brunches my sister, our mother, and I (and our kiddos) have ever had. We cannot wait to make the trip back!“

“I have been going here since they first opened 10 years ago. I order a few times a month at least while they are open. Yesterday at their grand opening for the year was the first time I ever had an issue and that was they forgot to give me napkins. That should tell you how high quality and close they pay attention to details. I tell everyone I know to go here and take family from out of town here whenever I can.Vegetarian options: They have them. “Great place to gather with friends. Atmosphere is cosmopolitan yet warm and friendly. Busy with good live music yet calm enough to carry on quite serious conversations. I hosted 12 men who are not all easy to please. (Some might be called grumpy!) They were pleased that evening!“

“We had lunch at at an outdoor table. Everything was delightful. The pick two option is inexpensive and the food was great. One of us had a really nice vegetarian soup, and the piadinas were light and tasty. Wait staff was also perfect. Our cheerful server even gave us a great tip on where to view the eclipse!“

We never sit at the tables, but I can tell you the waitresses are on top of it and very nice as well!“

“Went in on a Thursday evening after driving for 5 hours. Our host was absolutely amazing! Made recommendations for not only the restaurant but for our trip to Cedar Point! And gave us a private tour of the winery! We raved about it the entire way home and were so happy with the experience. We wish we got his name but he was amazing! 10/10 would recommend!“

“After moving to Sandusky, I was introduced to Eats & Treats after going to a few other fast-serve ice cream summer places and finding them lacking. Not so at Eats & Treats. If you are getting tired of small portions for high prices, you'll enjoy a change from that at this local favorite. For most "main menue" (not appetizers) the portions are pretty big, and I can definitely say that their "flurry" ice cream mix-ins have a LOT of goodies in them compared to some other places. Only thing I wish is they had spinach as a pizza topping, but that's a small complaint. If you're in Sandusky, make sure to check this place out - they have a great variety on their menu, and everything is tasty.“

“Saucey Brew Works in Sandusky was an excellent location to have my friends birthday party. Nelson was fantastic with getting everything arranged and made the event run very smoothly. There is plenty of space, variety of drinks, and good food. Plus the customer service was over terrific!“

“This was a solid experience. My father and I were in town for the eclipse. We reasoned that it would be wise to get something to eat before the long journey home. I was immediately encouraged when we entered and I heard Spanish being shouted in the kitchen. That's almost always a sure sign that you're in the right place. The menu had all of the usual items, but in my case I was looking for a particular item. For some reason it's impossible for me to find basic grilled chicken with cheese sauce at my hometown. I found it here, and it was delicious! Wonderfully tender chicken, well prepared beans, and the cheese sauce was perfect. My father indicated that his dish was perfect also. Our server was wonderful throughout and took great care of us. Hope to come back!“
