He also told us so many cool tidbits about the restaurant (e.g., the custom made chandelier in the background of my pic weighs 1,900 pounds and made out of metal nuts, ya know, like nuts and bolts, and is titled “The World is Nuts”). Now, let’s talk menu! The food is so delicious and the menu has so many options! The food is all freshly prepared, no frozen pre-packaged ANYTHING here! You can’t go wrong, especially at happy hour! “Parkside Grille is probably our favorite place for takeout in Mayfield. The food is always fresh and delicious. We always receive fast and friendly service. I highly recommended giving them a try!“

“So, long story short, don't expect any kind of service from the bartender if you come on a Saturday evening. I started not to say anything but after a lot of thought I felt like this needs to be said. My wife and I have visited this place on several occasions usually during the week and had great service from Maggie. However this past Saturday was a complete disaster. We came in to have a burger and beer and after arriving and sitting at a table in the bar area we waited.......and waited ........ and waited. Finally after sitting and watching the bartender who we later learned was Kate socializing with what appears to be her friends for almost 15 minutes we finally flagged a guy walking by asking him if there was a waitress for this area. He stopped immediately and apologized asking what we wanted to drink and then proceeded to go behind the bar and grab our drinks himself. Coming back he apologized and asked if we wanted something to eat and took our order. Our food was later brought out by someone else and the whole time the bartender continued to socialize with the two or three people at the bar that appeared to be friends. Only after our food was brought out did she finally decide to tear herself away from her social group and grace her with her presence, and even this interaction seemed to be a bother to her. Guess I made a long story longer. Point is the bartender Kate is ok if you're in her social group. If you're not forget about getting any kind of service from her.“

The place was hopping and the staff stayed on top of it. Chefs super friendly and thanked us for coming. Food was promptly brought out hot, coffee cup was never empty. “Yesterday was a Sunday, I worked all day. On top of it, my Jeep had a flat and it was late on a Sunday so no shops were open. I hadn't had the chance to go grocery shopping because I worked overtime last week because its Birthday Season/Holiday Season. So decided to doordash dinner because i was starving. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with Mayo on it. First there was no bacon. How do you forget to put bacon on a bacon cheeseburger? The burger was blackened burnt.Then there was no Mayo on it, and usually that wouldn't bother me cuz it's a condiment that is usually in most people's fridges, except mine, because I hadn't gone grocery shopping. I can't eat a dry burger. Needless to say I went to bed hungry last night. May I add I work in healthcare and we're in an active covid outbreak. I was so exhausted and work has been so stressful, that this whole ordeal literally made me cry tears. I felt defeated and I was looking forward to chowing down that burger. The most upsetting part was how much my food cost, and the prices are hiked on doordash. I can't wrap my head around how careless the cook obviously was.“

“I went here twice in the three days I was visiting. Everything was great. The place has an old fashioned diner vibe. Food was freshly made and no matter how busy they were, and they were definitely busy, the food came out so fast! The food was very good for breakfast. I recommend the pancakes and western omelette! Not cash only anymore!“

“We bombarded the Solon location with a large party ( more than 10) and when I tell you everything from the initial greeting until we bid farewell was AMAZING!!! “The food was delicious. The special tomahawk was well made and sliced tableside, and the sides were absolutely delicious. I particularly loved the carpaccio and the watermelon salad, as well as the green beans and twice-baked potato. And the peach old-fashioned was well-made and served promptly. Dining with my parents there is a bit of extra stress, but our server Heather was super knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive.“

“Just had the Ultimate Chocolate Cake at the Independence location - awesome! Any chocolate lover will not be dissapointed! Smooth, rich, creamy, and just the right size - not a gigantic slab that you won't be able to finish. I miss the dessert of the month, but this helps make up for that. Good job folks!“

“The service was wonderful and they have a small porch out front that we enjoy during the summer. The food was also wonderful. We only wish that it was in a more lighted area that we could enjoy inside as well as outside. If there was a way to add some windows or brighten the place up like the west side, it would be so much nicer. We ate at Crump and Spicket on the west side and we were able to have the table right by the window, which was incredibly enjoyable.“

I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants quality at a fair price. For a small sit down/carry out restaurant, I thought the place was super clean and new looking with white quartz counters and white wall tiles. Looks very new inside.“

I was expecting flavor fireworks, but it was more like a flavor fizzle. The avocado was the highlight though! The fries were fresh and tasty, and the house-made ranch? Chef’s kiss.
