The establishment provides great food, great pricing, personable and timely bar staff, and conversation with anyone and everyone. Owner, Jessica’s smile and giggles are heart warming, and Owner Chris makes sure every woman is walked to her car by a man in the restaurant if not himself. If this isn’t community, I don’t know what is.“

After looking at the top breakfast joints in the city I landed on this one! I was gonna ask two ladies entering the building before me if the food was good but I didn’t. I didn’t need to! The moment I hit the door I could smell the good cooking!

It’s kind of a hole in the wall with what looks like a store front, on a mini strip plaza. My server, Emily, gave me the run down on the menu and I chose her recommendation and it was as she described - in short, DELICIOUS!

The food came out QUICK and cooked very good.

Will definitely try this place again when I come back to Cleveland“

“Easy 5 stars all they way around at Heritage! Went last weekend and had the BEST Wagyu ( local from Southington, OH). Our server, Lilly, was very knowledgeable about the menu, accommodating and helpful. The food and drink speaks for itself; this is a must try and in the top echelon of CLE fine dining.“

“Pretty nice little Italian restaurant. Got the chicken parmigiana dinner to go with a canoli and it didn't disappoint. Came with a side salad and Italian dressing which was nice. The sauce is good spaghetti was good chicken and cheese was great. Lots of flavor and fresh. Decent portions. Canoli was tasty as well. I would recommend trying this place out it ain't too bad. Nice little outside area to eat as well. Glad I finally stopped by to try it out. I wasn't disappoint and I'll be back. 🙂“

“My first visit was a resounding success! I ordered the fish sandwich and fries along with an order of soul rolls. The fish was delicious and I was really full from it, but I had to bite into one of the soul rolls. Before I knew it, I had ate half of it and I knew I was full already. Moved to CLE from the dirty south and had the hardest time finding good food up here. Then I found Calypso's. They got the flavor, the spices, aaaaaaallll the sauce, and the sweetest employees. “Haven’t been to JT’s Diner for about two years. Thought we’d give it a try as we remembered it being good at their previous location. We were very disappointed in our breakfasts. My crisp bacon was burnt to a crisp with burnt taste upon first bite. Our home fries used to be excellent “sliced” potato’s, but yesterday came as mush and the scrambled eggs were not even cut….just folded like an omelet. Coffee was good and hot, as in the past. For $20.53 I expected better. Don’t think I would return.“

As someone who loves good food, finding a hidden gem in a city you already enjoy visiting is always a treat. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between upscale and welcoming. I ended up sitting on the patio, which made for a fantastic evening.

Nicole was my server, and she was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable without ever being overbearing. She took the time to answer questions about the menu and made several recommendations that absolutely elevated the experience. Her suggestion to start with the octopus appetizer was spot on. It was one of the best appetizers I’ve had in a very long time.

For the main course, I ordered the hanger steak with chimichurri, and it was exceptional. Perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and one of those meals that has you planning your next visit before you’ve even finished the first one.

What really stood out was how well everything came together. Great atmosphere, incredible food, and service that genuinely made the experience memorable. Nicole did an excellent job, and her recommendations were a big part of what made the evening so enjoyable.

Five stars hardly feels adequate. The Standard delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I’ll absolutely be back.“
