“Think of the great bars in Urban Cowboy or The Deer Hunter! A place where Cledus would stop to “put some groceries down his neck”. This place drips character! It oozes from the 50 year old paneling. The windows are boarded up and you can’t tell if it’s even open. They even had a projection TV and an effing cigarettes machine! (Out of order). Food was awesome and cheap ($6.50 for a bacon cheeseburger. $4 for more fried and delicious ravioli than one can eat). The server was amazing and this will be a regular stop whenever I pass through.“

“Very low key, family friendly and great food options for such a little place, shakes and ice cream options! The ladies taking the orders are super nice and friendly. I got the chicken Philly sandwich and hubby got the fresh tenderloin sandwich. Big portions! Kids got the quesadilla and fried frog legs (tasted like fried fish with consistency of chicken and my son liked it). The fair fries with vinegar were awesome, we ate all of that! Covered outside & inside a/seating and bathroom is in the back of the inside seating area. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a lunch place. We found this gem on the way to Athens! We’d stop here again!“

“We traveled from out of state for our anniversary and wanted to eat somewhere local. The food and service were exceptional. The atmosphere was amazing and friendly. Would recommend to anyone and we will definitely be going back the next time we travel through!“
