I personally have worked with Sam, the manager, and his team the past several years to provide teachers and present staff with a meal during their in-person conferences. This location is not only a family favorite place as my boys and I do visit often 😄 but this is also a staple of the Ross Community. HUGE shout out and so much gratitude to Gold Star in Ross, Ohio 10 outta 10 recommend!!! THANKS!! also to add real quick when I have family come in from out of town (there are no Gold Stars that we know of North of Dayton, Ohio) first stop is and probably always will be Gold Star ⭐“

“Several times a week my daughter and I go for lunch in between our school bus routes. And it is always enjoyable with the friendly servers. We always take a ice tea with us to enjoy after work. Well Abby decided she didn’t want to share the tea.“

“A few regular employees who have taken our order over the years go above and beyond to make sure my son's (who has food allergies) food is prepped as requested. The few times there have even been the slightest question of safety or miscommunication in the kitchen, they have remade his food with no problem. The employees are always so kind, friendly and understanding, and this is so appreciated!“

“Everything you've heard about Five Guys is probably true. The hamburgers are delicious and very generous. Unless you have a very big appetite you might want to get the smallest size. The same is true for the french fries but even more so. They have free peanuts for you to shell and eat while you are waiting for your order to be ready. What you have heard about the prices are also true. My wife and I brought our granddaughter here we had three hamburgers and three orders of french fries my granddaughter got a soft drink and my wife and I had water at the fountain. The price was a little over $45.“

“Skyline always hits the spot. This location wasn't busy and we got right in. Several tables were filthy. We had to wipe down our own table. Waitress was a young HS girl and the service was average at best. The chili and cheese coneys definitely made up for all of it and it was all good. Been 10 months since I sat down and had Skyline. The chili was GOOOOOD and those cheese coneys even better.“

“The owner is a great man who loves the Lord, and taught me the power of scriptures & having a foundation of scriptures in our hearts. The restaurant business is tough & It requires a great team to accomplish great service. Its almost impossible these days to find trusted reliable People. “Staff was super nice and manager offered an additional drink for our wait but I respectfully declined because we ordered a crave case and knew it was going to be a little wait and honestly it didn't feel long at all to us. We don't have a white castle near us, so we stopped here on our way back home to Connersville from a Reds game in Cincinnati.“

“Just ordered Bubbakoo's today and Chipotle no longer exists to me. This restaurant outdoes them in every way. I would marry this restaurant if I could. I ordered a taco salad with fried cauliflower and I melted as soon as I took my first bite. The crispiness of the cauliflower was perfectly complimented by the perfectly cooked beans, delicious sauce and guacamole. The way my food was packaged made it feel like I was opening a present. I think I'm in love.

Vegetarian options: Fried cauliflower is available and super delicious.“

Normally have good luck with ordering ahead on the app at this location, so I didn’t think to pull out all of the burgers to check this time. I noticed our sides were correct, and even had the sauces I requested… so I thought it would all be correct. Sadly, it was not, and I drove off. I didn’t realize that over half of the burgers didn’t have the correct cheese/ toppings once I got home. I received mostly garlic cheese burgers, and a couple jalapeño cheese (not ordered). I ordered 5 smoked cheddar/ 5 garlic cheese. I’m upset because, we live around 20 minutes away- it isn’t convenient for me to drive back for a correction. :(

Update: Truly some of the best customer service in regards to making up for my last experience/ review. I really appreciated that, and due to normally having great experiences with this location- I’ve changed my review back to 5 stars.“

“I had some of the garlic Parmesan chicken strips today along with some onion rings. These things were absolutely awesome! I mean, fresh and as hot as you could get. I’ve only eaten food from Dairy Queen just a few times in past years, but normally I get the ice cream. But I was surprised how good the food was. Absolutely excellent.“

Despite it being fairly busy (there was a large group of elderly men joining for a lunch meetup which was sweet), my service was fast, efficient, and great. Parking: Parking was small but was on both sides of the store so plenty of parking.

“Love Wendy's one of the best fast food restaurants me and my kids go to Wendy's all the time because the $5 meal you cannot beat it junior bacon cheeseburger nuggets fries and a drink for 5 bucks it's a good meal. Always fresh food services always been fast the one in Harrison and in Lawrenceburg they have a great staff sodas Harrison and it's not fun working in food service I do it as a job but the people working at Wendy's have always been friendly fast and good service. The five-dollar bill by far is the best deal you can get at a fast food restaurant anywhere I challenge you on that“

“Still maintain that this location is clean but the service wasn't as good this time. Now then... Flamethrower Grillburger Cheese Curds Hot Fudge Funnel Cake What Is It: The Flamethrower is a half pound burger topped with fiery Flamethrower sauce, melted pepper jack cheese, jalapeño bacon, lettuce, and tomato (the latter two I had them leave off my sandwich.) Cheese curds are fried cheese bites and the funnel cake comes topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. Presentation: The sandwich isn't nearly as appealing as the menu shows and it's not just because I left the veggies off. The other two items look acceptable. 4 out of 10 Taste/ Final Analysis: I'm a big fan of the Flamethrower. Even though visually this wasn't the best the flavours were definitely there. Lot's of spicy goodness to be had here. I recommend getting extra flamethrower sauce for it as that's especially tasty. The cheese curds were run of the mill and really could have used a dipping sauce of some kind. The funnel cake while tasty really didn't remind me of a funnel cake. It was kinda like a below average plain donut topped with a bunch of stuff. Still a sweet dessert but hardly a state fair funnel cake. Some good and mediocre with this meal but at the end of it I'm satisfied. Flamethrower Grillburger: 8 out of 10 Cheese Curds: 4 out of 10 Hot Fudge Funnel Cake: 4.5 out of 10“

“Skyline Chili is my favorite restaurant. My wife and I spent a few days sightseeing in Cincinnati. She has never been to Cincy. She has never had Skyline Chili. I told here that you haven't been Cincy until you have their chili. I ordered us Cheese Coney dogs & a 5-way chili. She loved it. Our server was the best. She treated my wife like royalty. She gave her a newbie bowl of their chili to try before we ordered and she put a bib on her.“

“I went to this White Castle when it first opened in 1965. The little hamburgers cost 5 cents, and the cheeseburgers cost a dime. To use the public bathroom it cost ten cents. I went in there once to buy a cheeseburger, but first, I had to use the toilet. After paying to use the bathroom, I was broke, and left hungry. Moral of the story: Use your own bathroom before heading out to White Castle's.“

I was assisted with ordering, and offered shake on spices, a very lite lemon salt, homemade hot sauce, and fresh made tortillas. Ordered the whole roasted chicken dinner. Came with beans and rice, and a nice tossed salad. EVERYTHING was delicious. I had to dash a bit of all the seasoning in my food, and was pleasantly surprised at the unique flavors. “I'm giving this a 4 because I feel a little conflicted about this chili. I only visited this restaurant because my son insisted on trying it. I grew up in the south and for us chili was a hot hearty bowl of beans and beef not chili sauce with a little beef and spaghetti. So of course I can't say I enjoyed it very much but my son did so I split the baby and gave it a 4 star. The service in the drive thru was faster than most fast foods and the lady at the window was helpful and smiling. What more could you ask for. So while this chili was "not my cup of tea" the food was hot and my family enjoyed it.
