“The food here is great. The service can sometimes leave a lot to be desired. It's not that the employees aren't nice. i just seem to have bad luck with other diners when I go here. They always seem to be having problems, and that causes my orders to be delayed. I am not a fan of the kiosks, but i use them when i have to. They really need to be able to print you a receipt there. The email or txt versions are not good enough“

Kathy and the other lady who came in at 11:30a that day, sorry I don’t remember her name, were both very helpful and polite. We had a pleasant conversation and were very nice to my kiddos. She offered them mints and wipes for their fingers. She was very helpful when I was needing something and didn’t want to leave my kids by themselves she offered to get me something.

Today, 8/9/24, Kelly took the initiative to check in on my mobile in store pick up order. She was very nice and polite.

“To food was what Cane's makes. If you love it you love it if not well whatever. This visit was requested by a 15 year old on the way home from his baseball game. He ate his box meal and then finished what I was going to take for lunch tomorrow. Apparently, he loves it.

“I mean come on, it's Skyline, so we all know the food is as expected. Had a 5-way with the team, and it tasted like a 5-way should. A little too much liquid, so next time, I'll try it dry. “It's pretty repetitive how often I say something is the "best ever" but when trying the Chili at Skyline Chili, I can confidentially say that the Coney Chili Dogs and Chili Pasta are the best ever. Though I was confused on how to eat the spaghetti chili, the helpful waitress told me to angle the plate vertically--not horizontally--while you eat. So that's exactly what I did! And the chilli was filling and very tasteful! A splendid experience in Cincinnati that I've waited nearly two years to try!“

“Just ordered Bubbakoo's today and Chipotle no longer exists to me. This restaurant outdoes them in every way. I would marry this restaurant if I could. I ordered a taco salad with fried cauliflower and I melted as soon as I took my first bite. The crispiness of the cauliflower was perfectly complimented by the perfectly cooked beans, delicious sauce and guacamole. The way my food was packaged made it feel like I was opening a present. I think I'm in love.

“My server Lynnette was great. Very friendly and good service. Food was ok, but when I was eating I could hear the staff talking. Very inappropriate topics to be discussing at work in earshot of the dining area. I’ll spare the details but should not be talking in such a way at work where customers can hear it. That’s just my thoughts. Also, when I went to pay no one was there. The front of the house and kitchen was empty. I waited for 5 minutes to pay. I could have just left but I didn’t. I would suggest a bit of training here. They were all a nice bunch but need leadership at their work. Even a fast food chain. That is why McDonald’s is #1, they train their people not just expect them to be great without training and they don’t fire them so quickly. They invest in their people. That’s what Gold Star needs. Show your people that you care about them and train them and they will deliver. This is what is needed at this location. Thanks to Lynnette. She was very sweet.“

“I have only ever been a drive-thru customer at this location, so I cannot speak to the dining room. However, the drive-thru has outdoor speakers with upbeat music playing and it smells heavenly outside, not a smelly dumpster or grease stain in sight. The food is always the same quality, and the line to order moves very quickly. The menu has good visibility and the crew at the window are very pleasant to interact with. Can’t go wrong stopping here for some good fried chicken“

“The food was good as usual. I am not a fan of the new mets, however, as they seem to be smaller than the Hotdogs. I will say that over the years, the skyline has always had good food, but the price is less than to be desired. This is why, unfortunately, we eat chili dogs at home usually as you can usually get 2 to 3 times the amount of food compared to in resturaunt. I was also shocked when our bill came out to be more than what we would spend at a restaurant such as Olive Garden.“

“My son & I got takeout here (Madisonville) for the first time last night. The Cheesesteak beef is delicious--juicy & full of flavor--as is the Amorosa roll it's served on. “I’d like to say that my husband and I have gone back to the Skyline drive thru near I275 in Colerain to give them another shot (we love eating Skyline) and they’ve been right on. I’m happy to report that the issues of not getting our order right seems to be fixed. Our food was exactly as we ordered it after getting home. We’ve gone through the drive thru 3 more times and no issues, we even added a dish at the window and they didn’t blink an eye. They added the item with friendly service I’d like to say I believe they fixed the problem! Bravo!! I chose to cater a work breakfast with their catering and they completed the order on time and it was done right! My employees LOVED it. Smiles for miles! “went to Swensons on Madison road in Cincinnati ohio. We had been meaning to try this since it open. We were a little disappointed in the serving size of the fries, Double cheese burger, and Fried bologna sandwich. Taste wise it was great. Service was fast and friendly. I'd recommend to anyone but I'd definitely recommend to double your order if you want enough to eat.“
