The inside is small and simple, but the staff were so very pleasant and we had some of the best Asian food we've ever had. The cup of egg drop soup is generous, more like a bowl, and was very tasty. The veggies in the rice dishes were fresh and perfectly cooked - crisp and not overdone. It was a constant stream of people picking up take-out orders while we ate; seems they were filling these orders in 10-15 minutes. And best of all, the prices are very reasonable. “Quick and tasty. I got a large order of teriyaki chicken and fried rice, no vegetables. The rice didn't have much if any flavor but that was fixed with some soy sauce. I also got an 8 piece crab wontons which were very hot and delicious. They're labeled as cheese wontons on the menu but they definitly imitation crab in them. They came with sauces but I never use the red sauce that comes with rangoons. They're good without!“

“I am very critical of where I buy Chinese food. I have to say, Golden Chen was the best I have had in years. Even the reheated leftovers were mouth watering and making me wish I had more.
I don't have any pictures, I enjoyed my food too thoroughly to bother. But I had an egg roll and Chicken with Broccoli.
The egg roll was freshly made, crunchy yet soft on the inside and filled with a delicious variety of vegetables.
The Chicken and Broccoli was juicy and succulent. There was enough chicken for you to have a piece with every bite. The broccoli was perfectly steamed and abundant. There were sliced carrots that soaked up the sauce. Now the sauce 😋!!!! The perfect amount of, what seemed like, extra sauce that coated everything and was so packed with an amazing taste. Can I get this separately? Oh, so freaking good.
Now the last thing.... And this made the meal top notch, was the fried rice. A light brown in color full of peas, onions and small carrot pieces. It wasn't dry like so many other restaurants and had a flavor that was out of this world.

“Whenever I'm craving some good, Chinese comfort food, Chinese Imperial Inn is my go to. Every time I come in I am met with such kind service. The food is like a warm hug with every bite. I think its an excellent value. Consistently good quality and service. I dont know the woman's name who cashes you out but I adore her and always feel so welcomed when I come in. “Not all Chinese restaurants are the same. And each one has its specialities. This one does a very good job in what they specialize, which is Guangdong/Shanghai style dish. What that means is that their speciality is not Sichuanese. So if you go there, you should order Guangdong/Shanghai food not Sichuanese. They do a phenomenal job with that dish.

You should get:
- Shanghai Style Eggplants
- Moo Goo Gai
- Sizzling Seafood Combination
(Any seafood menu was good from my experience)

These are not the best:
- Mapa Tofu or Double Cooked Pork (they are Sichuanese dish)“

“I always try the Szechuan chicken at any Chinese restaurant and this one was so very good. Lots of chicken and fresh vegetables. The sweet and sour sauce felt homemade like a sauce and not a syrup. Just moved to the area and found the Chinese restaurant that I'll be going back to for years.“

“A really nice little place to order take out from or dine in at! Found this place based on reviews in the area, was greeted by a friendly smile and seated promptly, seating IS limited but it seems most people prefer carry out at this particular location. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Menu was very forward no complaints from me although I think it would be beneficial to show pictures of one dish from each category to help people not familiar with this type of food. Food price and serving portions were worth every penny, food was really good I would have said great but I think they are cooking on the side of caution and not really packing in the optimal amount of flavor they could be and also skimping on the heat. I had the Mein Fun and Orange Chicken both dishes were well presented and again good serving portions, shrimp in my Mein Fun was thoroughly cooked and did not have any odor to it (this is something I personally look out for and just a general note) I also got 1 pork egg roll, it was very crispy on the outside but not overcooked and hot on this inside (great job!! They have their fryer set right and it shows!!!)
My only real complaint is if I order the combination bowl I expect beef chicken and shrimp (this was not the case at this location) and not having a fountain machine means I was plagued with $1.25 canned soda.

Overall I would recommend this to friends or family in the area and look forward to eating here again and again“

The food is as the name says: Yummy!! Very clean, germ conscious restaurant too. 👍
*However*, most (not all) of the employees there never smile, mumble when they speak (which is very minimal) and seem unwelcoming and miserable. The food is what keeps me coming back; definitely not the staff.“

Got chicken lo mein (spicy), an order of 8 steamed pork dumplings with dipping sauce, and an egg roll; all amazing. The chicken lo mein was a small order but still had a lot in it. Ready in about 5 minutes, granted there was only 1 other customer there at the time. $19 total bill for all 3 items.“

“I got lunch at Godavari and my boyfriend and I really liked their food. Although just for other lunch buffet connoisseurs, their lunch buffet is only open on weekends according to the staff. So if you were inclined to get their lunch buffet on a weekday, I would recommend going on a weekend or getting a lunch combo instead.“

“I took my 2yr old and 7yr old here for lunch and they had a fun time cooking their own food. We got the bento lunch and it was delicious. I recommend the miso broth and spicy chicken. The mushroom broth is very light and tasty too. They keep napkins in a drawer under the front of the table which was very helpful with kids. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My son was fascinated by the robot server. We will definitely be back soon. One of the best dining experiences we've had in a long long time.“
