Found out later he was the owner. U may think he did that for business, but he was genuine. The place is always open, and I made a lot of friends there. “We had an amazing meal at Alara! The service was excellent and the food and beverages were delicious! The pain killer cocktail is a must try (TRUST!). The HOP cakes were delicious and refreshing (like a crab cake sans crab). I also really enjoyed the Iberian pork chops and the scallops. I will be thinking about those pork chops for a while... 😍“

“Thank you so much for accommodating our large group of 12! Bucks is our FAVORITE Thursday night supper spot but we never considered hosting a family celebration there because of space and timing. The Bucks staff and owner made it all work, seating our party as they came, serving those of us who were early with appetizers, and AS ALWAYS, delicious food. The perfect atmosphere for our daughter’s birthday (who has been a Bucks fan for years).“

“What a great find! We were looking for a place to take a bunch of kids after a birthday Zipline adventure. Decided to try this and it was perfect! The upstairs is amazing! So big and spacious with a bar and balcony and party room with games.
I don't think they want to be known as a place for kids parties, but they were accommodating nonetheless and it was a hit with the kids.
They even had pizzas ready for us when we got there (I called about 20 minutes before we arrived).“

“We love getting Chilango, and while we loved eating in, our takeout experience over the last couple months has been wonderful! We’ve tried most of the taco menu over the years and have found our favorites. Last night I tried the Flank Quesadilla for the first time and it was wonderful! I can usually finish 3 tacos, but couldn’t finish my quesadilla so I had leftovers for lunch today—very good heated back up, too! Thanks for the awesome food!“

“Wow, where do I begin? I was there for lunch, and the garage doors were open which created a great atmosphere. The food was flat out amazing and so flavorful. The wings were also on point. I would not typically order wings from a taco joint, but after being advised they're great, we tried them and I can't disagree! Magnificent. And the sauce they serve is far from a conventional wing sauce, but it's delicious! I highly recommend this place in every aspect. Oh, and the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual. Ohh, and DEFINITELY try the spicy margarita. Best marg of that type I've ever had. Smoky. Great stuff all around. ?“

“After a long day of shopping at IKEA, we stumbled upon this hidden gem, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, with particular shoutout to Eduardo, who made our experience even more enjoyable.
The carne asada was hands down the best steak we’ve ever had. Its tenderness was beyond compare, easily surpassing any five-star steakhouse we’ve been to!
We also had some drinks, and I highly recommend trying the Horny Juanito; it was delicious and perfectly complemented our meal.
If you’re in the area, this restaurant is a must-try! You won’t regret it!“
“I have been a HUGE fan of "The Ferm" for a while now. I live in the neighborhood and it is my favorite spot to drop in on. Just when I didn't think I could love them more, they proved me wrong. I organized a corporate holiday party here, and Megan was such an amazing partner in the coordination from start to finish! The actual event exceeded ALL expectations! Megan, Emily and Jean Luc were an all star team! This is my third year organizing this event and this was absolutely THE BEST! THE Fermentorium checks ALL THE BOXES!!! I recommend them for a planned evening out, an impromptu quick drink, or to host a private event!!!!“

“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The staff is super friendly and attentive. They are very quick with getting the food out and drinks. Only one time the waiter gave my friend and I a hard time. We asked for a few minutes to order and he ignored us for a long time though we tried to get his attention. Otherwise, I enjoy coming here and enjoying their food and atmosphere.“

“As someone born and raised in the south, I'm always a tiny bit nervous about Cajun style food this far north. But I was not disappointed at all. Ordered the fried catfish po-bowl and it was so good. The cornbread breading was so crispy and flavorful. And the homemade tartar sauce, wow.“

“Always a great experience at this location. We picked the bar happy hour this time & at 4:45 the bar was completely packed. I was so impressed with the service as the bartender handled every customer on his own and was amazing! He is a keeper!!! Very professional and attentive.“

“It was ok we booked a table because 5 of us parking wasn't clear finding the cafe wasn't clear . What surprised us was the extra charge of using credit cards !!!! What is that about . The server was good although didn't get outr orders correct not substitute soups and fries cost involved..Not sure we will go again .“
