“We had a very nice evening out with friends. Our waitress Angela was fantastic. She was so personable and friendly. If you’re going there for dinner ask for Angela. My husband ordered the steak and cake while I ordered the Zin Chicken which was excellent. The steak my husband ordered was so tender, however, the “jumbo” crab cake was a joke. It literally looked like a pancake. I think the chef needs to go up to the New England states or Baltimore for lessons in how a crab cake should look. The Caesar salad I ordered was a little dry also.“

“My husband and I used to frequent this restaurant weekly. Now that he is in a nursing home I still go every chance I get. “Mom” makes the best homemade pies anywhere! Fries rival every fair in the state. You cannot find a better waitstaff anywhere! So friendly they make you feel like family. I am very particular about where I drink coffee. But I know I can always count on a good cup here. If it’s not fresh they’ll make it for ya. Only criticism is they’re not open for late night meals. You have to get those to go. Lol.“

But we went today for lunch and it was amazing. First off, while the interior is a bit dated (think 90s design), it was well maintained and clean and does not look its age. The waitress, Jenna, was prompt, attentive, and very pleasant. The food was amazing. Cooked perfectly and presentation was good. Good sized portions, not too big, not too small. I had the tortellini and my husband had the steak sandwich. Both were excellent. My husband also had the tiramisu, of which I needed to sample, for dessert. It literally caved in to the center so our spines were at an angle toward each other. We're regular sized people, on the thin side if anything. The only alternative seating available was a hard metal high-top stool with no back. I don't have back problems, I'm relatively young, but I was literally aching to get out of there for how cheap and poorly built the booth seat was.On the plus side, the service is always excellent here! If you can snag a comfortable seat and don't have dietary restrictions, you'll have a great time here.“

“Tried to find a place that would seat a party of 13 last minute. They accommodated us with no problem. We were in the back room by ourselves which was great. We had an amazing young man as waiter that put up with our foolishness. It was my husbands birthday so his son asked about a free dessert for him. After spending over $600 on our meals, we were told they don’t do that. When our grand son went to leave he ordered and paid for a $6 piece of cake. The food was amazing and service was outstanding, we were just disappointed about the dessert.“

“Recently attended a concert (Jim Brickman) on this smaller auditorium side. We've attended sold out concerts from this same artist on the larger orchestra side of Powers Auditorium. Definitely a different experience as it was a more intimate concert this time, especially due to the close proximity of basically all the seats on this smaller auditorium side. He said he had used this side for rehearsing during concerts he performed on the Powers Auditorium side, saying he loved performing on the larger, "orchestra " side, but wanted to return to have a concert one day on this stage that he also enjoyed for the close experience he could share with his audience.“
