“Enjoyed dining and drinking in this stylish midcentury modern restaurant/bar. We arrived during the last hour of service yet staff remained attentive and friendly, from the manager, the server, and the bartenders. We ordered a sampling of appetizers - deviled eggs, meatballs, crab cakes, 6 wings with the dry rub. We drank (2 each) of their signature old fashioned, very tasty.“

“Anjou is a beautiful cocktail bar in the dainty neighborhood of Walnut Hills. On a warm evening, Anjou props open their windows making the whole place hip and relaxing. I quite enjoyed their light and refreshing ube cocktail. Paid parking can be conveniently on the same street.“

“I was in town and Agave & Rye was recommended to me. I stopped in on 9/10/22 talked with Emma the hostess and explained I was having a few friends to stop by not sure how many between five and ten. She accommodated me at the high rise table back by the windows which was perfect for my nine guest. Sarah was our excellent server, she continually checked in on us even thou I saw her working outside as well. Our drinks were awesome and our food was really good. Next time I am in town I will definitely return here.“

“Really cool bar tucked in one of my favorite spots in Cincy. The crowd was definitely college kids, which we are well past. Outside patio is a treat, but inside in the winter is just as cool. Drink menu is basic. I wouldn’t go the if your looking for craft cocktails.“

“My husband and I stopped in today for lunch after seeing it recommended on Google. The fresh focaccia with olive oil and balsamic were hands down the best I’ve ever had. My husband enjoyed his wedge salad and we split a highly delicious pepperoni pizza. Mike and Maddie were so welcoming! We even got to enjoy their brand new outdoor umbrellas which gave such a nice touch to their outdoor dining patio. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later! 🥰“

“Tonight was mine and my husband’s first time at Wildflower Cafe. I’ve been wanting to try it out for years! I have to eat gluten free and love to find great local places with unique, fresh GF options. We had reservations and were seated on the main floor near a window, but we were right next to another table of 3. It felt a little snug and not as private as I’d have liked but I don’t fault the restaurant, it was a Friday evening and busy. For starters the smoked fish dip with Gf toasted Focaccia bread was yummy. For main entree my husband got the burger on a pretzel bun (not GF but could be ordered GF if need be, served on focaccia) He said the burger was delicious! After seeing it I wish I had ordered it. It looked amazing! Now for my meal, I ordered the current seafood offering which was a soft shell crab in a cornmeal batter, on seasoned southern greens. First let me say, I love crab but I had never had soft shell crab. They had an option for one or two crabs, (2nd with an additional charge) I opted for the single portion. The seasoning was good on this dish, however I regretted not getting something else. The portion was small, not a lot of meat on the single crab, and overall it just wasn’t a fully satisfying meal. I found out soft shell crab wasn’t my favorite. I probably should have ordered something more filling like the mushroom ravioli or lemon chicken and pasta. Both of those looked delicious. I just didn’t feel the crab was filling enough, maybe it needed some type of potato with it. Not sure. I would say it was an “okay” choice. Next time I’ll order one of the other options. For dessert we split the peach cinnamon bread pudding (GF) and it was delicious. Highly recommend! Our waiter was kind, but seemed busy. It was a Friday, so I give grace. Would have liked my water refilled a little more frequently. I would definitely like to come back and try some other dishes. This is a great spot!“

“We just had to share a huge thank you to Quarter Bistro for making our son’s night so special! Our 17-year-old son took his girlfriend there for homecoming dinner on Saturday. We had told him to make sure he was ready — check prices, reservations, have enough to tip, the whole parent talk. He chose Quarter Bistro because it’s a place they always drive past, and it felt special to them even though they’d never been. He came home absolutely glowing! He said the food was amazing, the staff was wonderful, and the atmosphere was perfect — even if, in his words, it was “all older people” 😂. The best part? The manager came out, told them how much he loved seeing young couples there, and took care of their bill. That kindness meant the world to him — and to us as parents. It was so good we asked the server what was on it and she came back with an ingredient list from the kitchen. We ordered 7-8 items to shared and everything was so good. I would not typically order wings from a taco joint, but after being advised they're great, we tried them and I can't disagree! Magnificent. Their Arroz Con Pollo is the most incredible dish that I have ever experienced at any Mexican restaurant! It's always so fresh and delicious. And it didn't hurt that we arrived in time to receive free chips and salsa, as well as $2 off margaritas.“

“Confessions Bar & Restaurant Lounge served as a send-off brunch location for our family reunion last weekend and it was PERFECT! The liveliness, the music, the atmosphere was perfect for our large lively group, and we were happy to have a separate space. The staff patiently served our very large group with grace, as the reservation was originally set for about 30 - I'm pretty sure there was way more than 30 people who showed up. We danced, sang, and even won raffle prizes from the restaurant. The majority of our group enjoyed the food; though, there may have been a few who were effected by the rushed and overwhelmed kitchen, which resulted in a long wait and not-so-satisfactory food. To the staff: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING PATIENT WITH OUR LOUD AND LIVELY GROUP!
